Yes, it is. I've just been through the lists more thoroughly and I can't see it there. It is really annoying me that I can't remember the title. I did have it catalogued but the upgraded operating system on my Mac means that the catalogue does not work any more. I will find it though. Thanks for your suggestions.

Title - Rasputin's Kiss
The series is called Investigating Love.
A serial killer is targeting young men who fit a particular description. A young police officer who fits the description is chosen by the leader of the police squad to lure him out. The two police officers first share a house as a guise but feelings do develop between them.
The young police officer had previously been working in the 'dungeons' of the police station and was locked in every day.
In another book in the series the two officers go away for a short holiday to the coast. A secret cave and smugglers are involved although we don't hear the full story in this book. All is revealed in another book
There could be 3 or 4 books in the series.
