I'm listening to the series on audio and while Tavia Gilbert's accents are great, I think that Bones's cockney accent is what has soured me on his character - I just can take him seriously with that accent, lol!

I do love the friends and the banter though.

I wish you had told me. Night Huntress and BDB are NOT to be listened to on audio.
I had read them before I bought the audios and listened to them and let me tell you, Tavia had no business doing that book.

On the other hand, Tavia does a great Vlad in his series (Night Prince)

Yeah...unfortunately, audio is the only way around my 1st person peeve. Good to know that Vlad's books are better on audio. I really love his character.

~Melissa~ | 5253 comments Penumbra - Finished Ethan, Who Loved Carter by Ryan Loveless - very sweet book and it worked for another challenge too - gotta love when that happens :) Still trying to get to The Student Prince by FayJay - I've started it but other challenges are getting in the way. I like it so far. I'll keep reading it in between my team challenge books.

~Leslie~ (akareadingmachine) | 1052 comments Sue Just finished my first book for this month Serendipity (Serendipity, #1) by Carly Phillips and I enjoyed it. Nice easy romance while I was away at the wedding. It's been hanging around my TBR for a long time so I'm happy to have it off. And I'm sure I'll pick up the next one in the series at some point. Thanks!!

So, did you like them? They are among my favorite in their respective series

Turtlecollector Dennis Only finished one of my books this month.

I Am Malala The Girl Who Stood Up for Education and Was Shot by the Taliban by Malala Yousafzai
3♥ - I wished it focused more on the girl and what she actually did for education. There was a lot about her father and mentions that she gave speeches, but not many specifics. Granted she is only 17 yrs old.
