Yikes. This is a crowded and busy place with a party going on. I feel like standing in the corner. Where is the bar or punch bowl?I'm not good at social interaction here on the surface of the Earth. I prefer Caves with artificial light -- I suppose I'm artificial too; my authentic self doesn't come out very often, and it has nothing to wear on its façade to smooth the grimaces of internal pain.
Oh yes, did I say I'm always cheerful. I don't often sing, but I shatter wine glasses with my laugh.
It does seem like the end of the world is coming soon, but don't blame me because I'm not the one creating all the extra earthquakes. They say, "It's better to light one candle then to curse the darkness," but lighting a candle is a fire hazard. Actually, it's easier to meditate in the dark and dreams are made there. So, let's say a blessing for the darkness where I hide.
Some would prefer to say poetry will end the world, but no rhyme will stick to the face of time. When I loved her, I felt the Earth move, but she left in a fickle pickle huff. But I know that lachrymal vicissitudes, slipping on plates of passion, are insufficient to generate terminal earthquakes so it ain't me who tears the world apart.
What's in the punch bowl of life? Where's the olive for my martini? May I have this dance?

I wave to you across the room and I see you looking at me, but I can not see the color of your eyes and I hope they are not red. That would be scary perhaps unless it was the fire of determination. I do not know how to paint an emotion on a canvas because I've never been a great enough artist to use paint to stroke a color of how I feel at any given moment when I wish to embrace an encounter of conversation where I get to say my immanent thought before banter and flirtation rob me of my soul citations where I tell you who I am really, but of course, no such thing ever happens. Mostly what I say is superfluous and not me at all, just what I must say to get by without attack or embarrassment.

I love to ramble scramble and if you don't mind a mess I'll tear across your kitchen, dump stuff in a bowl, add an egg and make breakfast for us in a frying pan. Yeah, another pancake surprise because I always forget exactly what I added and how much -- well yeah, always an onion, and you always say I add too much salt, except my salty language and you know what I mean. But I'd rather wash you than a pan and a dish. And do dish the gossip you have accumulated because I know how much you love to talk and I love to watch your lips.
