SOLVED. Hell Fire (evil Beth) [s]

Hello:
I thought the book’s name was “Hell Fire, by Stephen King”, I guess I’m wrong. It’s about a young girl named Beth (I guess I’m wrong too). She’s evil. I remember she made someone fall off a big ladder.
I read it in high school, in 86 or 87.

Stephen King wrote a book Firestarter about a girl named Charlie who could start fires with her mind. It's been a long time since I've read it, so I don't remember if she made anyone fall off a ladder.

I’m pretty sure, Beth (I’m not even sure that was her name) did not have any special powers.

IMO Back in the Eighties there were basically four authors of horror. King, Koontz, Straub and Saul. King didn't write a book called Hellfire but John Saul did - Hellfire with a character named Beth, an 11 year old girl. I"m betting that's it 99% but if not Straub wrote The Hellfire Club as well. If it isn't one of those two I would check other books by Saul and Koontz.
