I'm about halfway through and it's really good. I wasn't expecting too much but once again, I'm happily surprised.

Yeah...I was too the first time! Worth the read!

Sandra ~ ♥ Cross My Heart ♥ wrote: "How did you like Midnight in Death, the first novella of the series? Did it work for you? Did it answer any questions you had left from Holiday in Death?"I really enjoyed this one. Holiday seemed to end rather quickly and it was almost like an epilogue except it was packed with action...I liked seeing more of Mira's relationship with Eve. I don't know why but before this book, I assumed Mira was around Eve's age. I didn't realize she had a family (and grandchildren, no less).
Sandra ~ ♥ Cross My Heart ♥ wrote: "How do you feel about this case & the way it evolves around an escaped killer, David Palmer, that Eve has previously put in prison? Was it sufficiently developed in this short novella?"I think this was a good case for a novella. Almost from the very beginning, we know who the killer is and what and why.
Sandra ~ ♥ Cross My Heart ♥ wrote: "What are the Momentous Moments in MID for you? What will you remember most about this novella?"I think the relationship development will stand out for me. McNab/Peabody continuing to aggravate each other; Mira and Eve getting closer and, of course, Roarke continuing to help Eve with the case.

You nailed this one..."It's like an epilogue." That's the way I saw it too.
