Michael smiled a little to himself, "Hey Ryder." He said. Jason grinned slightly hearing his younger brother's voice."Well I suppose that's a good thing to know." She answered softly, smiling faintly
"You're on speaker with the others too." she reminded. Ryder squealed, excited. "Daddy! Come back!"he looked at her then closed her eyes "Seriously?"
He laughed softly,"I'll come home soon, buddy. Hi mom and Jace." He said. Jason laughed a little, "Hey Mikey." She looked over at him, "What?" she asked
"No, come now!" Ryder whines. Skylar shook her head with a small smile. "That's your reaction?" he rolled his eyes.
"I won't be gone for much longer Ryder.. Remember what I told you?" He asked. Jason held the little boy close.She laughed softly, "No, but it was better than yours."
Sky whispered something in his ear. "Okay..." he said to her "I love and miss you daddy." he said sadly. "You're so... Interesting." he sighed, poking her side.
"I love and miss you too buddy.. You are being good right?" He asked.She giggled moving away from him
"Nooo I'm bad bad bad!" he sung.he let her go, sighing.
Michael laughed, "Ohh are you?" He asked.She looked down at him after she sat up. She hadn't moved very far away from him.
Skylar smirked, shaking her head. She took the phone from him and took it off speaker. "He's fine. What are you doing right now?"he sat up and looked around. "What else can we do here?"
Michael was still chuckling softly as she started talking again, "Alright.. Right now I'm just waiting to get lunch." He answered.She shrugged and thought for a second, "Well we could go swimming.. Or we could ride around the town a little more."
They entered the ice cream shop and she sat down. "I hope you get something yummy.""I dunno." he stretched a bit. He wad already tired of all this traveling.
He laughed softly," yeah I was hoping that too.. Breakfast wasnt too bad though." She sighed a little and looked out over the water
"I'm glad." she said with a smile. She loved hearing him laugh. It made her feel better.Suddenly he just wanted to go back home. Homesickness struck.
"So you said you were going to get ice cream, right?" He asked She was still staring out across the water thinking about home
"Yes..." she murmured. "We're at the store."he got up and walked around, bored.
"Get some for me and have fun alright, Sky." He told her. She watched him
"Okay.. I love you, Michael. Be safe." she said, once again.he threw some sand in the water.
"I love you too, Sky. I promise I will.. Try not to worry too much." He answeredShe watched him as she got up
She sighed "Okay. Tell the others I say hi." she smiled a bit.he looked at her when he saw her coming.
He chuckled softly," I'll tell them. Tell the rest of them I love them and I'll be home soon." She walked up beside him," You seem upset." She said softly
She became teary eyed again but didn't show it in her voice. "I hope so.." she murmured. "call me whenever, okay?""I am." he folded his arms, looking at her.
He sighed softly," I do too." He answered," I will.. I'll call you guys before I go to sleep." She frowned a little," What?" She asked
"Alright. Bye. See you soon." she said before hanging up. She sighed "He says he loves you guys." she told the others."Did I stutter?" he raised his brows at her.
"See you." He said before hanging up and going to get lunch for himself. Jason nodded a little and Justine smiled and put her arm around Sky," I told you." She sighed softly," no you didn't, what I meant was, what's wrong?" She asked again
Sky leaned on her and sighed a little. "Yeah..""Everything. It's not fun. This trip is so boring."
Justine rubbed her arm gently," It's going to be fine." She nodded a little," Oh..." She murmured softly feeling a little as if it were her fault
She smiled at her "Thanks." she murmured. She ordered herself Michael's favorite flavor.he checked his phone for any important emails or anything.
Justine smiled back and then ordered. Jason and Ryder got something and Jason paid for everyone. Claire walked a little away from him and was staring off into the distance
Sky sat down with them at a table.he replied to some of them.
Jason had Ryder in his lap and Justine was sitting beside Sky. She continued to wander away from him picking up shells as she went
She started eating the ice cream and talking.he looked over to see where she went
Jason grinned a little at Ruder as he had ice cream all over his face. Claire stopped a little ways away from him and had her feet in the water
She giggled looking at Ryder.he went to join her.
Jason grinned and cleaned him up," Someone is enjoying himself." He commented She looking over at him
She laughed and shook her head .he smiled a bit.
Jason grinned at her laughing. He reached out and gently poked her side. She smiled back
She turned her head towards him and smiled slightlyhe stood next to her closely "what's up?"
He smiled at her. She shrugged a little," Ohh just the birds over your head."
She finished her ice cream thenhe looked up "Ha ha. So funny."
He finished his up.@ She giggled softly
She cleaned Ryder up when he was done.he wrapped ab arm around her
Jason looked down and grinned slightly," Well silly boy you got it all over me too." He commented hugging him. Ryder giggled She leaned against him a little
"Uh oh." Sky smiled at Ryder and jokingly wiped Jason's mouth too. "Here, now uncle is clean too!"He kissed the top of her head.
Jason laughed and Ryder turned to look at him,"'Mommy I ceen up untle?" He asked. Justine smiled as she watched them. She smiled just a little and slipped her arm around him also
"Sure baby." she kissed his cheek, watching him.he grinned slightly looking ahead now.
Ryder grinned and moved so he was facing Jason to clean up his face like Sky would clean up his.She was watching the waves roll into shore
She laughed "good job buddy."he closed his eyes and listened to it.
Jason was laughing the whole time Ryder was cleaning his face up. Ryder turned to look at her," Mommy hold me?" He asked reaching for her She sighed softly as she watched the ocean move
"I like you too, for what it's worth." he smirked.
