"Nooo." she argued. "I want to do things for you." she sighed. "Let me be a wife."he turned on his lamp and worked on some article he was writing for work.
He looked over at her," Alright alright you can make me dinner if you really want too." He replied squeezing her hand a little She shifted a little and sighed again
She smiled a bit. "Good. I'm going to make something you'll really like." she said, getting excited. he typed away, being an insomniac, he didn't sleep that much.
Michael chuckled softly," Alright." He replied as he pulled into their driveway.Claire started mumbling softly in her sleep and moving a lot more
She got out of the car and got sleepy Ryder out from the backseat, holding him tight as he rested his head against her shoulder. he sighed a bit and glanced over at her for a moment before looking back at his screen.
He watched her get their son out of the car and walked behind them I to the houseShe sat straight up in her bed gasping softly
She took him inside and tucked him in his bed, making sure he was okay before getting into the kitchen. She boiled some pasta and fixed some sauce and things to add.Should've just got my own room. he thought before looking at her again. "Nightmares?"
He walked into the house and closed the door. He watched her start to make dinner and smiledShe looked over at him," Well only sometimes." She muttered," Sorry."
She grinned at him as he sat across the counter from where she was working. She pulled out some herbs and spices, fixing them plates of pasta and sprinkled some oregano over the top at the end. "Voila, bon apetit.""Yeah, no problem." he passed her a bottle of water on his bed aide. "Here. Relax."
He watched her as she finished cooking with a smile on his face," Thank you." He said taking the plate from herShe smiled just a little," Thank you." She said taking the bottle," Im sorry if I woke you."
She set it on the table and sat with him. She got some wine out of the fridge then put it back remembering she couldn't have any. She settled on apple juice and poured it in two glasses for them. he shook her head "It's all cool." he said looking back at the screen.
Michael watched her and smiled a little seeing what she was doing though he didn't care all that much what they were drinkingShe nodded a little," Well alright." She answered softly laying back down after having a little drink
She brought it to him and sat down, smiling happily.he sighed and leaned back, blankly staring at his work.
He smiled at her as she sat down with himShe laid back down as sighed softly
She heard Ryder in the distance. "Hold on." she said and got up again, and prepared a bottle for him and went to give it to him.he turned it off after a while and turned off the lamp.
He looked over at her," Wait I want to give it to him." He said getting up," I don't get to do this often and I want to help you out." She closed her eyes a little as he turned the lights out
She stopped and turned back "Alright, then come on." she smiled.he lay down and sighed to himself, trying to fall asleep.
He grinned as he walked over to her," Im coming." He repliedShe sighed softly and shifted around knowing she wasn't going to go back to sleep anytime soon.
She handed him the bottle and got to Ryder who was half asleep.he groaned and got up. "Wanna do something?"
He took it from her and walked with her to Ryder. She sat up slowly," Sure why not."
She kissed ryder's head "We got your milk.""Well, what?" he asked.
Michael walked over to Ryder's bed and sat down. Ryder climbed sleepily into Michael's lap.She shrugged a little sitting on the edge of the bed," I dot know it was your idea"
Skylar smiled "You're just supposed to hand him the bottle. He'll go to sleep then.""Fine then don't do anything." he said folding his arms.
Michael gave the little boy his milk," Goes to show how long it's been since I've done this."Claire sighed a little," What is there to do in the middle of the night?"
She sighed and watched Ryder."Everything! Like literally, name anything."
Michael held Ryder close in his arms and sighed softly knowing he'd miss this time with his family a lot more than he could say,Claire thought for a little bit and then said some tourist attraction (I'd look some places up but I'm too lazy))
She helped tuck him in."Oh, come on Claire. That place wouldn't even be open and we don't even know where it is. I was thinking something closer?"
Michael smiled at the sleeping boy as Skylar tucked him in."Okay fine. Isn't there a little restaurant just outside the hotel. Maybe that's open."
She smiled and got up "Come on, we need to get our dinner finished.""Restaurant? You're hungry again?" he asked, surprised.
Michael nodded," Alright I'm coming."He said getting up and taking te bottle with him.
Claire laughed a little," No I'm not but it gives us something to do."
She walked back down with him and sat at the table. he thought for a moment before looking at her "Do you know how to swim?"
He walked and sat down at his place ad smiled at her a little,She nodded," YesI know how to swim."
She ate with him. "Great. Wanna go for a swim?"
He ate in silence not sure what to say.She nodded," Alright lets go."
She did too, but enjoyed it. "Okay." he got up.
Once he was finished he got up and took his plate and glass to the sink.She got up and dug through her bag to find her bikini.
She loaded the dishwasher.he got his trunks and headed out
He watched her and helped tooShe changed and walke out with him
She smiled at him when they were done. he went to the swimming pool area outside. No one was there.
He grinned back at her," What would you like to do now?"he askedShe followed him out and smiled a little
"Anything with you, my dearest." she smirked. he dived in the pool without saying anything.
He laughed softly," I asked you first." He replied.She dove in after he did and sighed as she came to the surface
She kissed his cheek. "Let's.. Hmm.. Well what are the options?"he came up after a moment and pushed his hair back.
"Well whatever we have here at the house since Ry is sleeping." He said slipping his arm around herShe floated on her back for a little while
"How about you call up your parents, let em know we're coming... Then we can decide." she smiled playfully. he circled around the pool.
"Alright fine I can do that." He said laughing softly and poking her side gentlyShe was staring at the sky
"Lets go upstairs then?" she grinned, hugging him lightly. he came up next to her and smiled "Hey."
He chuckled softly," Alright lets go." He said hugging her back a little She looked over at him and smiled," Hey."
She took him to their room. "What are you doing?" he asked.
