Putin "chose to doubt alternation of power in the US, referring to Bush dynasty and then Clintons." No big surprise there, since he keeps himself in power by holding sham elections that he always wins.

Regarding your question about limited or unlimited power - well I'm an American living under a constitution that was set up to limit power via having three branches of government and term limits for presidents.
