Elian gently took her hand in his under the table, as he finished eating.

She smiled and finished shortly after.
Elian stood and started gathering the plates when everyone was done and while Katy and Amelia ran off to get ready.
Still feeling slightly ill, Natalia helped as much as she could but then sat down in the living room.
Elian washed the dishes and then came back to her, worrying again.
Natalia was on her phone, texting in Russian.
"I'm going to go see if Milly is okay," she said.
"Okay, she nodded, putting her phone away.
Elian went and came back after a bit. "They're coming."
Natalia nodded and stood up, grabbing her jacket.
Katy came down the stairs with Amelia, who had on her backpack and was holding a stuffed bunny."What about her carseat?" Natalia asked.
"I hate one in my truck," he said. "But... we didn't come in my truck..."
"The one they have should fit in my car." She said. "Or, you can take my car to your place and come back in the truck."
"Okay, thanks." Natalia smiled. "I'll have to buy on of my own."
Natalia picked up Amelia, setting her on her hip.
Elian came back after a bit and hugged his aunt and waved good bye to everyone else.
"Thanks for dinner!" Natalia called then left with Elian.
Elian nodded and waved and then the were on their way.
Natalia hooked Amelia up into her carseat, putting her backpack beside her.
Elian helped out and then got into the frint.
Natalia got into the passenger seat.
Elian started driving back to his apartment.
Elian just couldn't stop smiling. He smiled all the way back to his apartment and while he parked and when he got down.
Natalia got out and helped Amelia out, holding her bag for her.
Amelia raised her arms towards her dad.
Elian took Amelia and held her close as he hugged Natalia around her waist now.
Natalia smiled and followed him inside.
Elian walked up the stairs and to the apartment. "This is the first time in a long time that she stays with me." He admitted.
"When she as the last time?" She asked.
"You wanna watcha movie?" He asked Amelia, sitting on the couch when they got there, smiling.
Amelia nodded. "Yeah." She smiled."Hm?"Natalia looked at her knowingly.
"I mean: yes pease." She giggled.
He smiled softly and laid her down so that her head was in his lap. He wrapped an arm around Natalia and pulled her to sit next to him while he started looking for a movie:
Natalia smiled and snuggled up to his side, reaching down to play with Amelia's hair.
He put a random movie and watched it with them, leaning his head against Natalias.
Natalia lightly kissed his cheek, smiling.
"Mmmm, you're welcome." She teased
Elian went back to watching the movie, even though Amelia fell asleep.
Natalia forced herself to stay awake.
