“Me too... curly fries?” He asked.

Nodded, “do you want to get two or one curly fries plate and one chicken nuggets plate and just share?” He questioned.
He nodded and stood up to go order/ "Drinks?" he questioned after he stood.
He nodded and went up to the counter. Her ordered, paid and came back to sit.
She smiled and played with her bottom lip.
He sat down, putting his wallet away.
“You’ve never really mentioned your parents.” She said
“It’s... complicated,” he winced lightly.
“You want to talk about complicated parents?” She gestured to herself.
“You already know about my father,” he answered, avoiding her eyes. “He was a ruthless hunter and a merciless parent, if he was even one. It felt more like a leader training a soldier, a hunter than a dad raising two boys.” He stared at his hands, “i spent my life becoming the hunter he wanted me to become. I still remember my first kill.”
She nodded slowly, not wanting to press for more.
He tapped his fingers against the table. “My mother... she died when we were young, me and my brother.”
“A demon killed her,” he explained. “I guess that was my father’s motivation to become a hunter. After she died, he was never the same.”
She nodded slowly. “I remember hearing something about all that.”
“You probably have, he was... widely known in hell,” he responded.
She nodded. “I know exactly who.” She murmured.
He didn’t ask why, kind of worried about the answer.
“Nothing.” She waved her hand dismissively.
“Thank you,” he said tp the waitress.
“I don’t know.. with me.. with everything,” she responded.
She pursed her lips. “I haven’t really thought about it...but I think so.”
He nodded and grabbed a chicken nugget.
“I’m not sure what it’s suppose to feel like.” She aaidz
He nodded because he wasn’t particularly sure, either.
“I’m still trying to figure out what love is.” She sighed
She nodded and sipped her milkshake.
He went back to eating, occasionally sipping on his milkshake.
“Should we head home after this?” She asked
She nodded and ate some more fries.
He started got back to eating, too, lost in thought.
She looked around. “To think the decor of this place hasn’t changed.”
He looked up and raised his eyebrows, “you’ve been here before?”
“I think so.” She looked down at the table and smiled. She looked up and stood. “Follow me.”
