She took his hand with a sigh.

He pulled her up to him and pulled his shirt off. He set it next to his stuff and waited for her.
She pulled herself up and took off her tank top and shorts.
He smiled at her lightly and kicked his slippers off. "Lets go."
He walked with her towards the water, getting sand stuck between his toes. He smiled and went close enough for the water to crash against his feet.
“Oh no.” She stepped back to avoid the water.
He looked up at her, "what?" he asked, confused.
He lifted a hand to his mouth to stop from laughing. "No making excuses."
He stepped over and without warning, he picked her up, bridal style.
She squealed and held onto his neck. “Drop me in and I swear to fucking god I’ll kill you.”
"Sure," he responded with a smirk, "I'm terrified."
“Please don’t.” She held onto him tightly.
He nodded, "Don't worry, love. I won't drop you."
He chuckled lightly and walked deeper until the water reached below his waist. "I'm going to put you down now, okay? But I won't let you go," he promised.
She nodded and adjusted her hands.
He carefully set her down in the water. It came up to her waist. "You okay?" He asked.
She flinched at the cold and made a face at how squishy the ground was. “Yeah.@
He chuckled softly and held her hand, "Is this your first time into the water at a beach?" he wondered.
She took her arms away from him and turned to look at the sea.
He watched her and then walked deeper into the water.
She followed slowly, keeping her arms above the surface.
He turned to her and walked backwards, staring at her.
“why are you staring at me?” She giggled
"Cause you're beautiful," he shrugged.
He smiled and started walking backwards. "Come on!"
“Okay okay I’m coming.” She wadded forward towards him.
He smiled and kept walking backwards until the water reached his chest.
“I don’t want to put my arms in!” She held them high over her head.
He raised his eyebrows, "why not?" he questioned.
“It’s cold.” She said again, but her body was used to the temperature.
He walked back over, "you'll get used to it."
She slowly lowered her arms into the water.
He smiled and bent his knees until the water was up to his neck. "See? It's not too bad, is it?"
“It’s fine only if my feet can touch the ground.” She mimicked him.
"Exactly, your feet are on the ground," he chuckled lightly.
“And they are staying there.” She gave him a stern look.
"No, they're not, we're going to teach you how to swim," he wiggled his eyebrows.
"Stop being all cute and shit, we're doing it," he leaned over to kiss her cheek.
“How do we do this?” She asked,” looking around. “People will laugh.”
"A they can't see us and B, they won't laugh. I'll shoot them myself if they do," he said, attempting to reassure her.
