He smiled softly, “you look beautiful,” he complimented. “Are you ready to go?”
She nodded, blushing. “Im ready.•
He smiled softly, holding his hand out for her to take.
She took his hand in her and closed her apartment door.
He smiled and took her out to his car
He got into the driver’s side. “Ready?” He asked.
He smiled at her as he started driving out of town.
She sniffed her flowers and smiled.
He drove for a while, quiet and then he pulled up next to a cliff. He got down.
“Uh oh. Is this where you kill me?” She asked.
“If I wanted to kill you, sweetheart, I would’ve already done it,” he laughed as he went to her side. “I wanted to show you the view,” he explained.
“Touché.” She giggled. She took his hand and stepped out. “A few that isn’t you naked?” She grinned.
He laughed lightly, “yes, a view that isn’t me naked,” he said as he grabbed a basket from the back. He lead her up to a step on the cliff and set the basket down. “Come see,” he said softly.
She left her flowers in the car and followed him. She gasped. “Oh my.” She breathed.
He smiled and wrapped his arms around her from behind.
She giggled and leaned back into him, unable to take her eyes away from the skyline. “I didn’t think it could look like this”.
“A stumbled on it a while back,” he explained, “I completely forgot about it up until I searched on google and it said something about taking you somewhere special.”
“And what makes this special?” She teased, looking over her shoulder at him.
“You,” he said softly and then pulled away to look at her face. “I don’t really know how to do this,” he told her. “I’ve never had a real girlfriend before and I’ve never really been the romantic type...”
She smiled softly. “We’re both virgins.” She winked .
“Oh,” he laughed and nodded. “Yeah, I guess.” He said as he laid down a picnic blanket before setting the basket down. He went back to the car and grabbed some pillows he’d hidden there.
“Wow how long did this take to prepare?” She asked, smiling.
“Aw.” She smiled and wrapped her arms around him. She kissed his cheek. “Thank you.”
He smiled lightly and kissed her head. “Glad you like it.”
“I love it.” She corrected him with a smile.
He smiled lightly, “good.” He answered as he sat down and pulled her down next to him lightly.
She sat beside him and smoothed our the skirt of her dress. “What’s on the menu?” She asked.
“There’s pizza, one pepperoni, one margarita and one spicy chicken ranch,” he explained.
“Oh wow.” She giggled. She examined the slices. “Hm..”
He smiled and set the boxes on the blankets between them and then he started to get other stuff out of the basket.
She picked up a margarita slice and took a bite. “Mmmm!0
He grabbed a spicy chicken ranch piece.
He smiled softly, “so, how was your day?”
“I slept for most of it.” She told him. “You?”
“Is work worse without me there?” She teased.
“You have no idea,” he laughed lightly. “At least when you were around, I didn’t mind what I was doing.”
