The corner of her mouth twitched. “Funny.”

She pressed her face against his chest and sighed.
He held her close and kissed her cheek.
SHe closed her eyes and held him tightly.
He just held her for a bit, figuring she needed it.
“I need to shower.” She murmured.
“Want me to join?” He teased, trying to lighten the mood.
He smiled at her simply, “okay.” He said.
She took his hand and led them to the bathroom.
He followed her. Then he carefully started to strip, watching her quietly, as if she would break at any moment.
She took off her clothes and rolled her shoulders. Her veins were very visible and her spine was bony.
He turned to the shower and turned the faucet on.
She stepped into the shower and stood under the running water.
He rubbed the back of his head and carefully and then got in with her.
She moves over for him and hugged her arms around herself.
He grabbed the soap and started to wash himself.
She got behind him and wrapped her arms around him.
He smiled and finished washing before he turned to her.
“I want to show you something.” She murmured,
She slowly turned and pulled her hair out of the way. She flexed her back muscles and something moved under her skin underneath each shoulder blade.
He frowned and his brows furrowed. “What was that?” He asked, worriedly.
"When i am starving to death, I am slowly turning into a physical demon. You know, the hairless skin, thin body, disjointed limbs, and most importantly, wings. They'r kind of like bat wings."
His breath caught, “and... and you’re starving,” he said slowly.
She shook her head. "Just hungry. Last night drained me."
He watched her and after a moment, he said, “feed off me.”
She stepped back quickly. “No, I can’t. Never.” She shook her head/
“Lyra, you can’t let yourself stay hungry. Feed off me, better me than anyone else,” he said, taking her hand.
“I was just going to feed tonight. I don’t want to hurt you.” She said
“You want hurt me. If it helps, I’ll even cut myself so you don’t,” he said.
She shook her head. “Archer please.”
Archer sighed and then let it drop, remembering the story about her mother. “Come on, this is a shower, right?” He smiled and grabbed the soap.
He gave a crooked smile and poured some onto her hand. Then he started wash her with it.
She curled her wet hair behind her ears and raised her arms for him.
He finished washing her and moved her under the running water.
She closed her eyes and laid her head back. The water fell off her body.
He watched her before he grabbed the shampoo.
“I can wash my hair.” She told him.
“Okay,” he said and put some shampoo in his hand for himself.
She put some in her own and massaged it into her white hair.
He put it into his hair and rubbed it in.
She rinsed it out after a few seconds.
