“I’m bait though! I’m an attractive man.” He asid
“You know what? Do whatever you want, I’m not going on this suicide mission with you,” he said.
“I know what I’m doing, unlike you.” He scoffed.
“Really? Because I don’t recall you growing up around hunters,” he said. “I’ve been in it all my life. How long have you? A year? Two? Three?”
“Okay so that’s my point then.” He said. “why don’t you finally make your family proud and get this demon?”
He grabbed knife from his pocket and quickly grabbed Maddox’s shirt, pressing the knife to his neck. “Never bring my family up on your tongue again,” he growled.
Marrow gritted his teeth. He glared up at Hunter. “I’m not lying.” The corner of his mouth quirked up.
He glared at his face and then realized that he probably just wanted to piss him off. “I’m not going to help you. It’s a suicide mission. You’re not prepared.”
“Do you think she’s to much for us? Together we can get her:” he said
“You’re impatient, it wont work,” he said simply.
“We can’t let them spread.” He said.
“Do what you want,” he shrugged. “This is why I hunt alone.”
“We can get her together! Then I’ll fuck off i promise:” he said
“Out of all the different demons, why her?” He asked. “There are so many others.”
“She’s the rarest. Hardest to catch.” He said. He stood with a sign. “Come on man, just try.”
“And you’re only temporary,” he pointed out.
“What does that even mean?” He scoffed.
“It means that you’re mortal. She doesn’t have to do much to kill you,” he said.
“We don’t let ourselves get killed.” He said.
“You’re human, you don’t have much defense,” he mumbled.
He glared at him. “And what are you; immune to it all? Youre human too.”
“Exactly, that’s why I’m not going with you,” he said simply.
“Then I’ll go alone.” He stood and grabbed his coat. “I’m going to scout the areas.0
“Fine,” he said and grabbed his stuff to go on his own hunt.
He put on his gloves and adjusted his coat.
He waited for Maddox to leave before he did.
Maddox went down to the main strip first, keeping an eye on those who passed him.Lyra was downtown in a small family owned pub. She nibbles on some fries and stared at her phone.
Archer chewed on his bottom lip and grabbed his stuff before walking out. He sighed lightly and went to Lyra’s apartment.
She sighed softly and looked up at the tv.
He knocked on the door and then turned to leave when no one answered. He didn’t even have her number so he could call or text her.
Maddox went into the pub to pick up food. He didn’t even look twice at Lyra.
He walked to the forest and hoped like hell she wasn’t getting herself in trouble.
((IDK. I assume soemthing should happen but the thing is that I’m not sure what or how that should happen LOOL fml))((Happy New Year, btw. Forgot to say that lol))
(LOL SAME. I feel like archer and Lyra need to have a a moment. And happy new year!))
((Maybe he checks up on her all the time, so one night Maddox gets tired of Archer disappearing all the time and so he follows him. So one night, Archer decides to get and have dinner with her, then he leaves to get dessert and Maddox thinks he left for the night so he goes in to check it out and finds her?))
((Hmmm. Should something happen before that?))
((Maybe she can tell him more about her past or something? Therefore their feelings evolve))
