He immediately tensed, “how did you find out?” He asked. “This is my catch, Maddox,” he warned.

He rolled his eyes. “There’s no rules. If it’s taken you months already it’ll take me even less than that.”
“I like the way I do things,” he said, “look, I have to go to work, done get into any trouble, alright?”
He took them happily and laid them out on the table. He read a few headlines and whistled. “Could she be any more obvious?” He shook his head.
“Do not intervene, Maddox,” he warned before he left to work. He walked to her flat before he did and banged on the door.
((I’ll make her sick another time. Maybe Maddox can capture her and starve her))Several minutes went by before she unlocked the door. She opened it a crack. She had a blanket wrapped around her shoulders. “What do you want?” She yawned.
((Alright, sure.))Archer looked her over and then said, “you have to get out of here for a few weeks.”
“You’re not very discreet about you’re endeavors, you’re attracting hunters and one of them is bound to get to you, probably Maddox but let’s hope not.”
“I’m serious, Lyra,” he said, though he didn’t even need to say that. She’d never seen him NOT serious.
He walked in after her. “You might think hunters can’t catch you, but they can. I did. And there are hunters better than me. Just leave, alright? For a few weeks until Maddox leaves.”
He rolled his eyes, “not you, your sister.” He said. “And I could’ve caught you, if not for...” he trailed off because he didn’t know what it was. “Anyway, you have to leave. You’re a demon, why even stay here?”
She sat on her bed and shrugged. “I just got here. It’s too soon for me to leave.” She told him. “Us demons need territories and we can’t be too close too each other. You don’t want to see us together.” She made a face of disgust.
“Then you have to stay in here, or go somewhere else and stay there,” he paused. “Come to the bar with me, there’s a basement room no one uses.”
She furrowed her brows. “What’s the big deal? You’re a hunter. I’m not cowering away from you. What’s so intimidating about this guy? I’ve dealt with my fair share of intense hunters.”
“There are hunters with human hearts and human minds, and then there are hunters that are worse than the things they hunt,” he said.
“It’s exactly what it sounds like. Ruthless hunters and hunters with a heart,” he grabbed her arm. “Stop it,” he said. “Stop and just listen to me, Lyra.”
He shook his head at her, letting her go, “I don’t even know why I’m trying,” he mumbled. “If the roles were reversed, you’d have let him kill me,” he turned around and walked out.
Archer honestly didn’t know what to say to that. He let out a sigh, “just try lay low, alright?” He said, walking to the door to leave.
“Dont leave.” She said quickly. She rose up on her knees on her bed. She dropped her blanket. She only wore panties.
He stopped and looked at her before he froze. He took a deep breath before closing the door and turning to her.
“You can leave, if you want.” She said. “You can even look away. Resist. When you’re under my charm, you won’t be able to look away.”
