She nodded slowly. “I understand.”

He nodded, “It has nothing to do with you.” He said softly, “i love you.”
“I know you do.” She kissed his shoulder. “I know you loved Alyssa though, too.”
“Yeah,” he said softly. “I did,” he said.
She continued to rub his back. “I know she gave you Amelia, so that makes it hard.”
She turned his head to face her and kissed him softly.
He kissed her back immediately without hesitating.
He pulled away and moved her hair off her face.
She nodded and checked the baby monitor.
He laid down and put his head in her lap.
She smiled and played with his hair.
She moved her thumbs along his cheeks.
Elian lifted his hand to play with the ends of her hair.
She smiled and leaned into his touch.
He pulled away and laid his head down again.
He watched her for a few more minutes before turning to the tv.
“When does Milly get back?” He asked her.
“Rebecca is going to bring her back after dinner.” She said.
He nodded, “good,” he said. “Then we can take a nap,” he said.
He laughed and sat up so he could make her lay down with him.
She smiled and laid down beside him.
He laid down and wrapped his arms around her.
She snuggled into him, sighing softly.
She closed her eyes. She was exhausted.
He smiled and closed his eyes to sleep, too.
She fell asleep.((omg remember that chick who had the audacity to comment on this thread?))
