He opened his mouth to deny it but he hated lying to her. "I'm sorry," he said.

"You're sorry?" She said incredulously. She turned away, shaking her head. She the whirled back to him. "Would you have done it? Would you have taken drugs?" She seethed. She looked deeply hurt.
She turned away from him again, crying.
"Nat," he said, putting his hand on her shoulder, "I didn't do anything. I didn't see Dan, thats what I was saying," he said.
"But it's the fact that you wanted to see him." She sniffled.
"I'm sorry, I was drunk... I didn't know what I was thinking," he pleaded lightly.
She just nodded, wiping at her face. She leaned against the kitchen counter, hanging her head and closing her eyes.
He sighed and leaned back against the sink, too. He rubbed his eyes and then stared at the floor.
"I don't ever want you to do that again." She murmured.
She nodded slowly and walked up to him, but didn't do anything.
He looked up and stared at her, "I love you."
She nodded, taking his hand. "I love you too."
She stepped forward and hugged him. "I hate you." She said, but she was obviously joking.
He hugged her back tightly and laughed warmly, "I love you, too."
"Don't scare me like that ever again." She squeezed him. "I love you too."
She pecked his lips, sighing softly.
She pulled away with a small smile. "Can you change Alexei for me?"
"Thank you." She patted his cheek.
She watched him go then went into the living roomZ
He changed Alexei and then came back.
"Hey," he smiled and sat next to her in the living room.
"Hey." She smiled, crossing her legs.
He laid Alexei in his lap and watched him.
Alexei looked up at him curiously."Try to make him smile." Natalia leaned against his shoulder.
Elian nodded and tried to make him smile, talking and making weird baby noises.
He eventually smiled."Ouch that's my heart". Natalia giggled
"Who's a happy baby?" Natalia cooed, leaning down and pretended to bite Alexei's stomach.
Alexei squealed, squirming cutely.Natalia smiled and pulled away.
He laughed and lifted him up a little. "He's so tiny."
"Tiny but getting big." She giggled. Alexei spat up.
Natalia used his bib to wipe his mouth.
He smiled softly, tickling him lightly.
Alexei kicked his legs around, not sure how to react from tickling.
"He looks more and more like you everyday." She said
He smiled softly, "I still see your eyes on him."
She smiled. "Yeah." She kissed his cheek.
