While Amelia was eating breakfast, Natalia took Alexei into the bedroom to check on Elian. "What are to you doing? Sleep." She said.

"What?" He looked at her, groggy. "I have to take Amy to school."
"No, you don't." She said. "Rebecca is going to come by and do it for us today. You need to sleep off your hangover and I need to watch you."
"You told Rebecca?" He asked quietly, the day before hitting him as he sat back down.
"No, I didn't tell her." She said softly. "I just told her you weren't feeling well." She sat by his side, holding Alexei in her arms.
He carefully nodded, "I-I really am sorry," he said, remorsefully.
She smiled sadly. "I know babe." She held Alexei with one arm and used another to touch his arm. "Do you want to talk about it?"
He took her hand and kissed it before he shook his head, "i just need a little time," he said softly.
"Of course. I'm here if you need me." She smiled. Alexei make some cute noises, squirming in her arms.
Elian nodded and smiled a little at Alex before he took his jeans off and laid down again.
"Would you like to watch him while I quickly shower?" She asked
Elian nodded, "could you call Amy in while she waits for my aunt?" He asked softly.
She nodded and handed him Alexei. "I'll go get her. And I'll bring back some aspirin for your headache."
"Thank you," he said and took Alex. He laid down and laid Alexei next to him.
She left the room.Alexei chewed on his fist while kicking his legs.
Amelia came in a moment later, holding out a pill of aspirin for him. "Ere daddy." She smiled.
He sat up, "thank you, sweetie," he picked her up and set her onto the bed next to Alexei. He took the pill and drank it down with some water. He then turned to her, "I'm sorry I can't take you to school today."
She smiled and held Alexei's hand. "It's okay. You sick." She said.
"Yeah, I am," he smiled softly. "Are you okay?" He asked her. "How was school yesterday?"
She nodded. "I okay. I wanted you to read to me last night." She frowned, but then perked up. "School was fun." She smiled.
"I'm sorry, maybe tonight?" He asked her, smiling at Alex. "Yeah? What'd you do?"
She nodded. "We did numbers and colours." She grinned.
"Yeah?" He smiled. "What colour is this?" He asked her, pointing at his shirt.
He smiled. "You're right," he said. "Now count to three with me," he said, holding one finger up. "One..."
She reached out and touched his finger, saying 'one' along with him. She lightly pulled up his second finger. "Two."
He smiled and said, "two." He said and looked at her as he lifted the third finger.
She looked at him shyly, pausing for a moment. ""Three!"
He grinned and clapped lightly, "perfect!" He smiled and gently hugged her. "My baby girl is so smart," he said softly, kissing her head.
Amelia giggled and hugged him. "Today we learn shapes." She said.
"You'll do amazing, right Alexei?" he grined.
Alexei just smiled up at them.Natalia came in with a towel in her hair.
"Feeling okay?" She asked as she approached them
"Still having a hangover but mostly, yeah," he said
She nodded and looked over when there was a knock at the door. "Rebecca is here."
"Oh," he said and sighed. He hugged Amelia. "Have a good day at school, sweetie."
Amelia hugged him back tightly. "I love you.", she kissed his cheek. Natalia waited for Amelia, holding out her hand.
"I love you," he waved. As soon as she was gone, he felt his guilt slam into him like a truck. He took a deep breath.
Natalia took Amelia outside to Rebecca.Alexei cried beside him.
He sighed, "please don't start," he said and picked him up.
Natalia came back into the room, her hair out of the towel. "I got him. You rest." She came up to his side.
"Thank you," he said with a slight sigh as he laid down.
"Oh and take your medication today okay? You're due to take them at 12." She picked up Alexei, shushing him.
"My alarm will go off." She said, adjusting Alexei in her arms. She then turned to leave the room.
She looked over her shoulder. "You better." She smirked, then left the room.
He smiled a little and closed his eyes.
Natalia took Alexei into living room where she fed him.
