She smiled and looked down at Alexei, who was still eating.
"I could stare at him all day." She murmuredz
"I just..I never thought that I would have a child of my own. Ever." She murmured, sniffling.
She glared at him playfully. "Excuse me." She laughed.
"Hey, you wouldn't have even had hope without me. You're welcome," he laughed.
"Oh stop it." She giggled, then softly cried happily.
He laughed softly, "hey, hey hey," he said softly.
"I'm sorry." She spluttered. She wiped at her face.
"For what?" He asked, hugging her to him.
"Being so emotional." She leaned into him.
"I used to be this sassy, vulgar woman who didn't care about life or what I got into." She told him. "Now, I'm a mother. And a wife." Her voice broke. "A-and I couldn't be any h-happier".
He smiled at her, "I'm glad your happy, thats all I wanted you to be," he whispered, kissing her head.
She nodded and sniffled, wiping her face on his shoulder.
"I love you so so much." She said.
Alexei spluttered, moving about in Natalia's arms. "Are you all done?" She cooed down at him. "Do you want some love too?"
He smiled and looked over at Amelia, who was now starting to wake up from her nap.
"Good morning sunshine." She teased to Amelia.
Amelia was grumpy from her nap so she didn't respond, she just sat there.
"Hey." Natalia grinned. She used her free hand to tickle her cheek with her finger. "Miss grumpy."
Amelia giggled and leaned her cheek against her neck to stop her.
Natalia smiled. "Do you want to burp him?" She asked
Amelia nodded, perking up from her nap.
Natalia used her free hand to drape a blanket over Amelia's shoulder
"You have to hold him gently okay?" She carefully put Alexei on her chest.
Natalia moved Amelia's arms so she was holding him right. "Okay now lightly pat and rub his back with this hand."
She wrapped her arms around her and patted her back lightly.
She leaned back and grinned as she kept doing that.
"Do you remember why he needs to be burped?" She asked
"Because all of the gas he builds up from my milk can give him stomach problems." She said
"Oh!" Amelia nodded in understanding.
She smiled. "So when he burps, hes all done."
