He nodded, "do you want me to get you anything?" He asked.
She shook her head. "No thank you." She said. "I just wanted to see if everything was okay with you both and the new baby."
"Yeah, everything is great," he smiled. "His name is Alexei."
"Alexei? That's a nice name. Different, but nice." She smiled.
Her machine beeped. She looked down at it. "I should get back. I have more tests to do." She sighed.
She smiled a little. "Thanks. I don't have my phone on me so...pop by whenever I suppose." She said.
He nodded, "alright." He smiled, and walked back into the room.
She smiled and made her way back down the hallway to the elevators.
Alexei was awake. He broke free of his burrito.
He smiled at him, "hey, little one." He said softly.
He whimpered, mov by his arms around
He smiled and slipped his pinky between Alexei's tiny fingers.
Alexei held onto his finger, then brought it to his mouth to suck on it.
Alexei sucked on his finger, closing his eyes.
He smiled and glanced at Natalia to see if she was awake to feed him.
Natalia was both asleep but not. She was just resting her eyes and body.Alexei started to cry softly.
"Shhh," he said softly, carefully picking him up and holding him to his chest.
Natalia shifted, stretching a little while wincing. "Is he hungry?" She whispered, then yawned.
She nodded and sat up a little, wincing again.
She adjusted her gown and held her arms out for Alexei.
She took him gently and began to feed him. "Once we're home, I'll pump milk so you can feed him too."
He nodded and glanced over at Amelia, who was still asleep.
She looked at him as she fed Alexei
He smiled softly at her when he saw her looking at him. "Are you okay?" He asked carefully.
She nodded. "I'm tired. But I'm very happy."
She smiled. "Hopefully we can go home tomrorow."
She beckoned him over. "Come here."
He stood again and stepped over to her.
She reached her free hand out of him, taking ahold of his hand.
"I wish we could cuddle." She sighed
"If Amelia wasn't in here I'm sure you could." She said
