"Do you want to hold him?" Natalia asked Rebecca. She nodded and Natalia carefully handed him over to her

Elian gently took her hand when she took Alexei.
Natalia held his hand. She could barely keep her eyes open. She was already stitched up and settled to heal.
"It's okay, the doctors can take care of it. You're tired," she sighed.
"Not yet." She murmured. She wiped from tears from her eyes.
She pulled on his hand. "Come here."
She touched his cheek, rubbing her thumb over the short stubble he had. "Is this real?" She whispered.
He nodded and smiled, "I think so," he whisperd.
She smiled, resting her forehead against his. Alexei began to cry in Rebecca's arms. "I think he's hungry." She said.
He smiled softly. He looked up at Alexei and looked at Natalia, not sure if she was up for it.
Natalia nodded at Rebecca, who handed him over. "Uh... I don't know how to do this...can someone get a nurse?"
A moment later, a nurse came, and helped teach Natalia how to breast feed.
It took a few minutes, but Natalia eventually figured it out.
Elian gently took one of her hands and rubbed it.
She smiled fondly at Alexei as he fed off her. "Your hair." She touched the small tuff of brown on their son's head.
She kissed him back. "I love you."
She smiled and looked down at Alexei again.
Natalia suddenly began to shiver and shake.
"I-I'm really c-cold." She frowned.The nurse in the to hurried over. "It's just a side effect of birth. I'll get you some blankets." She said
Natalia took Alexei off her chest and covered herself up. "I-I can't h-hold him."
He nodded and carefully took him. "It's okay, you're still weak."
She nodded.Rebecca took some of the blankets they packed from home and draped them over Natalia, tucking her in.
Natalia curled up into a ball, sighing softly.
Alexei slept softly in his arms, chubby cheeks and all.
He sighed softly and rocked Alexei. He let the nurses take him so they could run their tests and all.
Rebecca was texting her husband. "When do want Amelia to be brought here?" She asked
