"Ice cream again?" Amelia asked.

"I think you should get a sandwich Amelia." Natalia said. "You've had a lot of ice cream lately."
Elian nodded in agreement, "mommy is right."
Natalia opened the door of DQ, holding it open for them to step in.
"Thanks," he said and helped Amelia up the steps before walking in, waiting for her.
Amelia walked in and Natalia followed.
"Okay," he said and went to order. "The usual?"
She studied the menu. "I'll try the quesadilla this time."
"Do you want a kid burger Amelia?" She asked.Amelia nodded. "And fries!"
He nodded and then ordered for all of them.
"Did they say how long the wait would be?" She asked.
She nodded and pulled out his pills out of her purse.
She took two out and handed them to him."Can I have one?" Amelia asked.
Elian looked down at them and then at Amelia, "why?" He frowned.
"It not candy?" She asked while playing with a napkin.
"This helps daddy." Natalia handed them to Elian. "Oh okay." Amelia said.
He nodded and took them before putting them in his mouth and drinking water after them.
"I'll get it," he stood up and went to take it.
Natalia nodded and helped Amelia pulled her hair back.
He walked over, grabbed the tray and came back after thanking them.
Amelia clapped her hands excitedly.
"Do you think Amelia needs a hair cut?" Natalia asked while distributing the food.
He looked at Amelia. "Maybe a little trimming in the front, we can barely see her face anymore," he grinned and moved to move it away.
Amelia giggled and blew a her bangs.
"Now eat up." Natalia killed Amelia's head
He opened Amelia's juice and stole one of Natalia's fries.
"Hey." She swatted at his hand while laughingZ
He grinned, "what? We're sharing a life and you can't even share some fries?" He laughed.
"Oh really now? That's your compromise?" She teased.
"Yes," he laughed and then finally ate from his own fries.
