He kissed his cheek then Amelia's then got up.
He smiled, "so, what do you want to do?"
"Okay," he smiled. "You know how to play?"
"Okay then, why don't you go get your set?" He asked.
He watched her, smiling a little bfore grabbing his sketchbook.
She came back with her pack of Uno cards.
He took it and then took the cards out of the pack and started shuffling them.
She crossed her legs and waited patiently.
He then gave her seven cards, set one between them and then took 7 for himself
She held them up close to her face. "Fip the first card." She said.
"I go first." She picked a blue card from her deck to match the blue one that was now face up.
"Hmmm," he said and put another blue one on top.
Amelia put a three, a green one, because his number was three. "Colour is green now!"
They continued to play back and forthz
"Don't give me that face," he tickled her.
He walked with her to his room and helped her into the bed. Then he tucked her in. "I love you, Milly."
"Milly?" He smiled, turning on the bedside lamp.
"Wen da new baby comes, will you show er more attentin dan me?" She asked cutely.
He laughed, "what? No. I'm going to show you both as much as attention as I can." He promised.
She nodded and snuggled her stuffed rabbit. "Otay."
"You're both the same in my eyes, okay?" He asked, kissing her head.
He smiled, "sweet dreams, princess." He kissed her head and stood.
"Good night," he smiled and walked back out of the room.
Natalia was in their bed, with a notebook and papers. She fell asleep with her head against the headboard.
He smiled a notch. He went over to fix her position so she could be comfortable.
She startled awake, blinking. "What? I'm up." She said quickly.
"I... didn't want you to hurt your neck," he said softly.
"Why?" She asked, them looked around, coming to her senses. "Oh, I fell asleep?"
He nodded, "it's okay, I was about to go get ready for bed."
She nodded and rubbed at her eyes.
He kissed her head, "I'll get you some water."
"Thank you babe." She nodded. She gathered up the papers that got messed up.
