Ch 29 - I never guessed that it was Hitch who killed Fala - and framed Nevare by strangling her with the horse harness - the guys who shot Nevare and stole his carriage were trying to collect evidence against him

Ch 30 - Carsina dies, revives and begs for his forgiveness just as Nevare cursed her to do.

The walking dead get up and hang themselves on his fence - things are getting all kinds of weird now.

interesting! first of all, i think everytime in the past that Nevara did his bulemic-style bing eating, he just used magic. even the eating at the wedding came after the cursing of carsina. to answer Alex in one of the previous threads, i guess if i would go back to the beginning his eating probably indicated magic every time.

i was absolutely shocked that Hitch was the one who killed Fala. i get it, it's just another way to make him leave everything, but it still sounds a bit cruel. he wouldn't have stayed behind because of Fala. still makes me wonder about Holster though, does he just hate fat people? especially after we see Epiny's impression of him i have no clue where to place him

Maybe Holster sees it as a slight against the regiment - a lack of discipline that someone would let themselves go so far.

Now her re-introduction is starting to make sense. Couldn't figure that why she came back.

So all this time I was assuming the Speck came and got the bodies but maybe the magic has been forcing the bodies to drag themselves to the trees all along.

Just as shocked as both of you about this. I don't get it either, Hanne. It's not like Fala was huge part of his life. I guess the effect he had on her during their tryst might have led to something but we never got the chance to see that evolve.
