Wolf_Maiden | 19 comments Did anyone take the Patronus quiz? Mine was a Red Squirrel.
What an adorable Patronus!

My Patronus is apparently a Tonkinese cat. Interesting, because I'm a bird fanatic, although I do like cats as well. I looked up this particular type of cat, and they sound absolutely delightful. So, all in all, I'm pleased with my result :)

Sarah | 3915 comments Oh, they sound like wonderful cats! My favorite animals are wolves and owls so I was surprised at how delighted I was over a red squirrel.

Mine's a "mongrel dog". I wish that could have thought up a better name. "Mongrel" sounds bad. :-(

Sarah | 3915 comments I kind of like it. Mixed breeds can pull from all different personality traits. And I would imagine they would be good at just about everything.

Silvana (silvaubrey) | 2798 comments Mine is Russian Blue Cat.
I am a dog person.
Oh well.

Silvana (silvaubrey) | 2798 comments Patronus can change so I hope later we can retake the quiz.

Sarah | 3915 comments I want to be resorted into a new house :( I'm still pouting about the Slytherin thing. Unfortunately that doesn't change like the Patronus.

I have a cat that looks like a Russian Blue. They're beautiful cats.

I have a Russian Blue. They are beautiful and the fur is like a rabbit.

YouKneeK | 1412 comments My patronus was a ginger cat. I like these kinds of quizzes better when they have some kind of description or explanation for the result. Even though the descriptions usually don’t mean much, they make it more fun. Just giving me an animal name makes me go, “Okaaaay, so what?”

I also have a Russian Blue cat and he’s great, with tons of personality, although he can be a handful sometimes. His newest trick is opening drawers in my bedroom furniture. He of course particularly enjoys doing this while I’m trying to sleep in said bedroom. I recently went on vacation and I had to warn the pet sitter that, if it looked like my bedroom had been ransacked, it was probably just the cat. :)

Hahahahahaha!!!! I love it.

Silvana (silvaubrey) | 2798 comments Russian Blue is a good looking cat in real life but Patronus is basically animal shaped blue light so I'll just pretend it's a snow leopard haha

Made me think why I always get cats (my daemon according to Philip Pullman website is a tiger).

Anyway, apparently Evanna Lynch got a salmon. http://www.hypable.com/evanna-lynch-p...

Silvana (silvaubrey) | 2798 comments Agree with YouKneeK on the importance of description. They gave it for the Houses quiz, why not Patronus.

Ugh. Mine was a mole! A mole I tell you! I have no words.

Sarah | 3915 comments Wow. If it makes you feel better a friend of mine got a wild boar :) I'd rather have a mole.

colleen the convivial curmudgeon (blackrose13) | 2719 comments Mine is a fox.

I love cats. They have a million cat patronuses... and I get a fox.

Sarah | 3915 comments Foxes are awesome!

Silvana (silvaubrey) | 2798 comments a friend of mine got a Thestral. and some people got other magical creatures like dragon and hippogriff.

Tessa in Mid-Michigan (asata) I got a unicorn--not sure if I should be offended or thrilled.

Sarah | 3915 comments Thrilled! Definitely :)

Tessa in Mid-Michigan (asata) Ravenclaw and Thunderbird

Tessa in Mid-Michigan (asata) Ravenclaw fits--I do one or two crosswords daily.

Sarah | 3915 comments Ravenclaw would be good for me but I can't imagine having to solve a riddle to get into your rooms. I guess it would be an excellent brain exercise.

Tessa in Mid-Michigan (asata) But not so great if you couldn't figure it out..I guess you'd just wait until someone came along...

Sarah | 3915 comments That would be my fear as well :)

Kateb | 959 comments just tried the sorting hat and I am hufflepuff, haven't read the books for ages, what are the character qualities for this one

Sarah | 3915 comments You can google it. There's a wiki page that tells you.

Kateb | 959 comments ta I like it

Noor Al-Shanti | 52 comments I always get sorted into Hufflepuff in these kinds of things :) Hufflepuff is underrepresented in the books, but quite awesome. There's some good fanfiction about the house too.

Also, I agree with everyone who discussed the unfairness of the way Slytherin was treated in the books.

Lisa Yep - I got a badger. So not only am I a Ravenclaw bookworm, but I have a badger that protects me lol :)
