Steven Meyer For me it was almost a tie between sirius and lupin.

Ruby I was angry that it was Tonks and Lupin together; I felt like she just wanted people to get upset, so she killed off a couple instead of just one of them. I guess they're supposed to remind you of Lily and James, but I still disliked it. Sirius's death– yeah, it was bad because you didn't know he died at first, and then it turns out you can't go through the veil to get him back.

Laura Sirius, Remus and Fred were the ones who hit me the hardest. Sirius and Remus because they were both amazing characters, and Harry was looking for a father in both of them - and then they just died. And Fred because George has to live without him, and that's just unbearable.
But I think, it shows how great a writer J. K. Rowling is, because she does not even have to kill off one of the main characters to make us readers cry our eyes out - like a lot of other authors.

Ruby I was sad more than angry about Fred's death. I figured that he got killed off because he was a twin, and the twins were similar characters, and that seems like a very simple way to make there be a death without losing every joke-y type person she had. It seems like such a small, trivial reason!

Molly Bowen Definitely Sirius and Dumbledore! Those two were some of my favorite characters and it tore me apart to see them leave the story line! I felt like they both brought so much wisdom to Harry, among many other admirable traits. I didn't feel angry when these characters died, just heartbroken. I personally think killing off main characters pulls you into the story more, makes you feel connections to the characters that didn't exist before.

SNAPE!! J.K. Rowling killed him right as I began to fall in love with him. After Harry watched Snape's memories through the Pensieve shortly after, that solidified my thoughts. Luckily for me though, a few weeks ago on the anniversary of the Battle of Hogwarts, Rowling actually apologized for killing Snape - but I'll never forgive her.

Dizzy Sneep was a raging asshole who deserved death, y'all.

Sirius, Lupin and Fred, however, did not. what the fuck jkr. Sirius was one of the first father figures Harry actually had (not counting Dumbledore, the sneaky binch) and I'm still cryin about his death in 2017. The chapter in Dumbledore's office after he died is so damn heartbreaking.

Nabiya I was so mad when Fred died. And I really wish Hedwig and Dobby hadn't died but I think Fred's death was the saddest.

Keri Sirius closely followed by Lupin and Fred which to me were all the saddest deaths in the series. But also with Sirius because Harry had found a father in him and they had so little time to spend together. Lupin because he had already been through so much in his life and had finally found happiness and had a brand new baby. Fred because of George and the closeness of the Weasley family and as a mother, I can't imagine the pain of the loss of a child. There were way to many deaths in the HP series. I understand they were at war and that is the reality of it but it just seems the death toll was over the top for a book series.

myannamarr I know most people are going to say people like Dobby, Lupin, Serious, Dumbledore, and some other obvious characters, but I'm going to be different and say Bellatrix Lestrange. Yes, I know she was evil and everything, but Bella liked to shake things up, and I really liked that about her. She created drama, and drama is what keeps story lines moving. So Kudos to you Bellatrix!!

Julian Vargas Dobby!!

Logan Sirius Black for me. Nobody else was even close.

Emi Sirius and Fred for me. Sirius because his kinda crappy life was getting less crappy and then he had to die. Fred because he was so young and had so much life ahead of him. And I just got really attached to him as a character.

Lisa I think I was most upset by Sirius' death. It was like, 'Seriously? Harry is orphaned AGAIN?'

THANK YOU! I've always thought that Snape was a selfish character, but I've never found anyone who agrees with me. I wouldn't go so far as to say he deserved death because he did protect Harry after all, but he did NOT deserve to be immortalized by Harry naming his son after him. However, I would go so far as to say he didn't even really love Lily. If he did, he would have been able to give up his pre-Death Eater lifestyle for her. He was selfish, and it makes sense that Lily chose James over Snape.

Areej Javaid I was most upset about Fred and Dobby!! Why did she have to kill Dobby?? Well, it actually kinda makes sense, because he saves Harry and for that he kind of has to die... But still. And why Fred? I don't remember him saving anyone. And Hedwig!!! Oh well, there's nothing we can do about it..... :(

Kendall Mathis I was the most mad about Dobby. Come on J.K. Rowling why Dobby he never did anything wrong. I had just started to fall in love even more with him. All he was was greatful but i also loved his reaction to getting the sock in The Chamber Of Secrets.

YESSS Hedwig OMG. I loved Hedwig so dearly.

Celia FRED!!!

emily Sirius because he was probably my favorite character... then Remus and Tonks and also Fred.

Avery Fred. Because it ruined George's life. And Dobby, I wasn't as angry about it but that was one of the saddest. According to an article I read JK Rowling was going to kill Mr. Weasley in the 5th book when he gets attacked by the snake, but instead she kills Sirius.

Lucawoody Yeah I was really angry about Fred dying
