Not sure what type of conflict you are having, but if you are trying to use the same ASIN that would cause it.

If you have new cover art an ACE (Alternate Cover Edition) needs created, then you would be able to set the default edition.

I did not see any editions that were not combined. If you could provide links the the editions that you do not think are combined that would help.
