Matt Fulton (mattfultonauthor) | 1 comments Active Measures Part I (Active Measures Trilogy, #1) by Matt Fulton

Hi, everyone! I'm new to Goodreads and this looked like an awesome group to dig into.

My name's Matt Fulton. I'm kid from New Jersey with a laptop and a caffeine addiction. I've been an avid reader in the genre since I was twelve. Clancy’s The Sum of All Fears and Le Carré’s The Spy Who Came in from the Cold both had a major impact on me.

About two weeks ago I self-published my debut novel, ACTIVE MEASURES: PART I. It's the first volume of a trilogy. The full plot doesn't lend itself to a succinct description, but it's essentially about a faction inside the Kremlin who hire a disaffected Hezbollah operative to start a war between the US and Iran. There are four major plot lines with their own varying subplots with over 200 named characters spread across the US, the Middle East, Russia and Europe. I’ve been working on the trilogy for about fourteen years—no, really!—and the paperback version clocks in at 650 pages.

I haven’t had a word published to my name before this book so I’m just trying to get my feet under me and establish an audience. I’m also really looking for reviews right now and I’d be happy to talk anybody in further detail about the novel if they’re interested.

You can find out more on my website, http://www.mattfulton.net, or on Amazon at http://amzn.to/29IT5HW. I'm also on Twitter at @FultonMatt.

Anyway, I'm pretty excited to get in on the conversation here. I'm always looking for a great read in the genre.

Cheers!
