I think she was desperate to find her sister's killer -- to get justice and to convict the murderer. It was awkward to read (placing myself in Terry's healing body), and I could only conclude that she was somewhat irrational at the time.
Like the way you put that Charlene, "desperate". How could he refuse after learning that?
I think Graciella knew what she was doing. The L. A. detectives had stalled and weren't doing anything and she went for the last resort. It wasn't the most ethical of moves but she was out of options. I remember the detectives complaining about her calling them for updates.
I agree, Jonetta. Graciela was determined to get justice for her sister and she saw this as a way to win Terry over to her side and get him investigating the murder. If I knew the recipient of my sister's heart was a former FBI agent, I probably would have done the same thing.
