Gabriel Blankenship and his team are sent to Bachelor Moon B&B to investigate the disappearance of the owner, a former FBI profiler, and his family. There seem to be no clues and no viable suspects. Then B&B manager, Marlena Meyers, is shoved into a pond. When another attempt is made on her life they need to determine if the crimes are connected. Gabriel and Marlena are drawn to each other but both have past abandonment issues. This all leads to a lot of frustration. Well developed. Looking forward to the next in the series.
