Amara nodded furiously. "Yes yes yes." She said quickly, and ran over to the door. Tugging on it, she found it was locked, so she used a combination of her wings and saber to slice it open. She stepped through and looked behind her to make sure Kaci was still there.

Amara's wings flared open and the tips grazed the ceiling, slicing into it. "We don't have seconds!" She said, hearing footsteps. She froze. "We need to hide." She whispered urgently, "whats wrong!"

Amara rushed to the chair and acted asleep. Her parents came in and surveyed the door. "What happened to this door?" They asked each other. Their eyes landed on the two experiments. Amara tried to act but she was screaming with pain

Amara's parents looked at her, then the girl in the tube. Amara had a hint that the girl might be in danger, so she flailed around a little. It worked, and her parents turned back towards her. "I think we need to bring her back to the cage," they said

Fortunately and unfortunately, the researchers were focused on Amara. But one noticed the doors opening and closing, and peered around suspiciously. "Sir, something is happening." He told aMara's father, and they left the room to check the surveillance tapes.

Amara turned and her eyes widened. "What should we do?" She mouthed, panicking already

Amara gave her a weird look and then shrugged. "Ready when you are." she said and raised her wings. "Ive been itching to give them a piece of my mind for ages/"

She barked a laugh. "Don't ask me. I was brought in basically yesterday."
