What did Dudley see? I'm not sure we ever find out. I'll go ahead and look it up. Some character development there in Aunt Petunia as well. Finally. I have a feeling that voice was either Lily's or Dumbledore's, but I can't be sure, we don't even know if it's male or female! (or if we do, I somehow missed that part lol)

Edit: So this is what I found in the wikia page:
Although not mentioned in the books, J. K. Rowling said during the Dementor attack, Dudley saw himself the way he truly was: spoiled rotten and a cruel bully, making him realise, rather harshly, that he needed to change.

I feel somewhat bad for Dudley. He does not mesh well with magic (1st getting a pigs tail, then the ten ton tongue candy things, and now this!).

I can only imagine how Harry is feeling right now with all the back and forth with the owls and everything going on.

I wonder who sent that Howler to Aunt Petunia.

So much has already happened and it's only chapter two!

Dudley still likes getting Harry into trouble. You can always count on Dumbledore. I'm wondering too who sent the Howler. Another side to Aunt Petunia.

I am too curious about the letter. My first thoughts were Dumbledore or Sirus. Or maybe Mrs. Figg sent the Howler, because she is spying on Harry.

I really don't think it's Sirius. It was intended for Aunt Petunia and it said "Remember my last." Last what? Petunia obviously knew, so the letter must have been written by someone she knew and I doubt she's even met Sirius.

I thought maybe Lily. Remember my last wish? To look after Harry. Could a Howler come from a dead person though? Not sure

Up until now I was sure Petunia wanted to see Harry dead.. Deep down I think she would have preferred it if he hadn't survived. And now, this change in her behavior??? Maybe she loved her sister after all..

Very useful info Ria! Must have been awful realising how messed up he is. Yet, he never learns. He couldn't speak but somehow he managed to find his voice to accuse Harry and get him punished...Grrrrrr
