Elizabeth Loving the mystery elements of this book so far! But I can't decide whether it's cruel or not of me to think Filch needed some sort of consequence for how he treats some of the students... Then again it's only resulted in him being even nastier!

"Hearing voices no one else can hear isn't a good sign, even in a wizarding world" WOW... I can't believe these words came out of Ron's mouth.. He is usually so immature and frivolous. It comes as a big surprise when he talks like this..

I have watched the films a thousand times, I have read the book twice and I keep forgetting that Filch is a squib... Do they even mention it in the film?? I simply cannot remember. LOL I guess I don't care about him at all. In any case being a squib accounts for all this bitter behavior and hatred..

I always find Salazar Slytherin's story fascinating! I wish there was a book describing the events that happened back then when Hogwarts was founded.

Polyjuice potion!!

Elizabeth I agree! I love Ron in the books because of the way he talks and back-chats people, I find it so amusing! But this... and definitely would love to hear that kind of thing, it's like history but on a different level! Have you heard / signed up to Pottermore, the official HP site written by J.K.Rowling? There may be some things of interest like this on there!

Oh my god, yes, I could not agree more!

I can't help but feel bad for Filch. The one thing he cares most for in this world was Petrified!
I love how Snape tries to get Harry kicked off the team. Not very confident in his own team it seems.
I'm still not sure I understand why everyone thought Harry was the heir of Slytherin at this point.
"D'you think we've got nothing better to do in Potions than listen to Snape?" lol

I agree that there should be a history of Hogwarts type book. That would be such a cool story!
