Howler's don't seem a pleasant thing to receive at all..
But it's this that kind of makes me think that Harry Potter has replaced technology with magic? Like how we all depend on electronics, but in Harry's world everyone relies on mystic powers and forces like this! I find that so fascinating and can see how reality can be linked to Wizard lifestyles sometimes...

I agree Elizabeth! And I would give up every single one of my electronic gadgets and devices just for a chance to spend a day using magic!

I was wondering... If Harry and Ron hadn't made it to Hogwarts in time what would have happened to them? Would they have got expelled?

I think Snape may have been onto that if they hadn't made it, but I hoped the others would show some concern!
Yes, I'm not exactly fond of Lockhart either... But it would be interesting to see how he compared with your colleague!

Those Howlers are no joke! I can only imagine getting them when I was a kid and it would be so embarrassing!

That's such a good point Elizabeth. There's very little technology mentioned and I also think it's because they just use magic instead. I'd be so down for magic over technology any day!
