Maisie: Carrie Moss from Chocolat movie or Deschamel from Bones
Priscilla Everden: Michelle Dockery from Downton Abbey
Maurice Blanche: Michael Kitchen
Lord and Lady Compton: the older couple from the Emma Thompson version of Sense and Sensibility movie
Julian Compton: Laurence Fox
Series: Maggie Hope
Maggie: the redhead actress from Call the Midwife
Winston Churchill: Robert Hardy
Maggie's aunt: Judi Dench or Helen Mirren
Series: Royal Spyness
Lady Georgie: Laura Carmichael from Downton Abbey
Georgie's mother: Emma Thompson

Maggie Hope: Emma Watson (with red hair, of course!)
John: Andrew Garfield"
yes

Christine: Felicity Jones with an American accent
Jack: since we're really going crazy here, Jake Gyllenhaal
Mel: Judy Greer
They did do one of these books as a TV movie but it wasn't at all how I pictured it. I think it might have been made in Canada. I had a hard time finding it!

MacFarlane: the actor who played Dalziel in Dalziel and Pascoe - unfortunately that actor passed away.
Stratton: could be the actor who plays John Barnaby in Midsomer Murders

Caprice - Emma Watson
Niki- Anna Faris
Bella - Kaley Cuoco with Dark hair of course
Grant- Matt Damon
Seth - Ryan Reed

Juliet Capshaw: Reese Witherspoon
Juliet's Mom: Stefanie Powers
the Professor: Roy Dotrice
Lance: Ian Ogilvy

Series: Ashley Gardner's Captain Lacey
Characters:
Captain Lacey —Robert Sean Leonard
Lady Donata — Kathleen Turner
Grenville — Stephen Mangan
Matthias/Bartholomew — Hugh Bonneville
Marianne — Elizabeth Berkley
Denis — James Caan
Brewster — Forrest Whitaker
Edited to add: though I hope they are not made into a series/movie because I would hate for the roles to be cast against my vision of the characters. I'm pretty sure the author didn't have Stephen Mangan in mind for Grenville, but it's who I see.

I think Allison Sweeney is a great choice for Hannah, and Candice Cameron Bure for Aurora Teagarden.
I would actually love to see the Cat Who books made into a series, even if it's a movie series like the ones above, but after a while they would have to come up with their own ideas if it were a regular series as she only wrote 30 books (and I don't remember if that number is with or without the last one she was working on when she died, that she decided to not have published). But with that many books to work with, it would definitely be a while before they ran out of movies to make!
As for who would play Qwill...Tom Selleck comes to mind, he definitely has the mustache for it, and he's even the right age to play the part (and has experience playing a detective, both as Magnum and in his current role on Blue Bloods, plus playing Jesse Stone in all those Hallmark movies). I'm not sure who should play Iris Cobb in the earlier ones...Angela Lansbury maybe, but that would just make people think of Jessica Fletcher too much; Betty White, maybe? If she can stick around long enough, that is :P
Ed Asner for Archie, but we have the same problem there, at his age would he be able to finish all the movies?
Maybe Macaulay Culkin or his brother Kieran for Junior Goodwinter, although he'd have to go back to being a blonde for the part. Rory would be good too, but he's a little young for the role, although Junior even in his mid 30s still looks barely old enough to shave, so he could probably pull it off, but would have to do something about his hair if it's still long, as Junior always has short hair.

Italian detective: Rufus Sewell (he was Zen in the tv series - different series)
Detective's wife: Renee Russo

Tom Selleck would be perfect as Mr. Q

One of Maggie's boyfriends: Julian Ovenden from Foyle's War"
Oh my goodness, yes! I love Foyle's War and he would be perfect! Maybe for playing Hugh Thompson?"
Yes! Definitely :-)

Tricia Miles-Sasha Alexander, Angelica-Lauren Holly, Russ Smith-Thomas Gibson, Bob Kelly-MAndy Patinkin

Tricia Miles-Sasha Alexander, Angelica-Lauren Holly, Russ Smith-Thomas Gibson, Bob Kelly-MAndy Patinkin"
Yes!

Lucy Richardson: Ginnifer Goodwin with a curly wig ?
Lucy's mother: Marta Kristen from Lost in Space
one of Lucy's boyfriends: Josh Dallas from Once Upon a time

Well it is fantasy casting. Some people will need time machines for their ideal cast to happen."
Indeed!

Charlotte: Lauren Graham
Delilah: Melissa McCarthy
Both actresses were on the Gilmore Girls tv series

Sophie - Lori Loughlin
Mars- Tony from NCIS
Natasha - Alyssa Milano
Nina- Candace Bure

Lady Georgie's brother: Hugh Grant or Colin Firth
Fig: Tilda Swinston
Queen Mary: Joan Plowright or Helen Mirren

Goldy: Jenna Elfman
Arch: Simon Helberg (Big Bang Theory)
John Richard Korman: Simon Baker
Tom: Blake Shelton
Marla: Kirstie Alley

Blake Shelton sounds like a good pick to me, but where would he find the time? :P
Jenna Elfman would be good for Goldy, or maybe Melanie Griffith (she doesn't look too bad for being almost 60) or Kathryn Morris (from Cold Case).

Betsy: Melanie Griffith, Kathryn Morris (bit of a stretch on age), or Barbara Niven (she currently plays Hannah Swensen's mom in the Murder, She Baked mystery movies). Christine Lahti could probably pull it off, too.
Goddy: Matt Bomer (okay, that's typecasting, but still...), Neil Patrick Harris (more typecasting), Taylor Kitsch (he did such a good job in The Normal Heart)
Jill Cross Larson: Taryn Manning, maybe Julie Benz (she's a little old, but not by too much), or Larisa Oleynik
