Alex (koranika) Hey guys! Sorry if you've been missing out on the Twitter chats (they were pretty unorganized soo it's probably okay). You can share your thoughts about the rest of the series (The Titan's Curse and onward) in this thread. Feel free to post any thoughts and comments you have about the Percy Jackson books here as well as any discussions you want to have, just make sure you warn everyone of spoilers! Thanks. :)

Hailee I am really loving the series so far. I haven't had chance to read The Battle of the Labyrinth yet as I have been to busy finishing books that I have promised to review for authors in another goodreads group but I am hoping to read it before deadline.
I'm so glad that I finally started it and I am already looking forward to reading the Heroes of Olympus when the boxset that I have pre-ordered arrives.

Hailee I finished Labyrinth the other day. Definately my favourite so far. Loved the tension between Percy and Annabeth.

Yes! Though I think my favorite might still be The Titan's Curse. I'm not sure why; it just always has been. I'm glad you're enjoying it too!

If you thought this one was your favorite, just wait until the last one! Most people say that that one's their favorite. And that Percabeth tension just gets even better. :)

I'm really looking forward to starting the last one. Think I'll start it when I get home from work today. Because my box set of Heroes of Olympus doesn't come till the first week in October I was thinking about putting it off until nearer that time but I just can't wait to find out what happens. I'll have to fill in the time by rereading the Harry Potter series instead :-)

Crystal (wisegirlonfire) | 3 comments I so meant to do this but forgot! Argh. But I have finished Percy Jackson's Greek Gods and am currently reading Demigods and Magicians.

Hailee I finished Last Olympian yesterday! OMG so many suprises. It actually went in a different direct than I was expecting. It's nice when the last book in a series can suprise you, as so many times by that point I can kind of expect how they will overcome their enemies.
There were quite a few teasers about what is to come in HoO so it's really added to the anticipation. Also the Percy/Annabeth storyline had a cute and satisfying end. So good!

Yay! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I definitely remember being really shocked at some of the outcomes when I first read it. And there are a LOT of teasers that don't quite make sense until you read the Heroes of Olympus. I do suggest you read them when you get them. The first book in the Trials of Apollo, The Hidden Oracle, was also amazing. Um, well, all of Rick Riordan's books are amazing. It's also semi-important to read them in order of publication (when you get to Magnus Chase and stuff).

Also, thank you so much for participating! I'm so glad you enjoyed the series. :)

Hailee Thanks for organising this readalong! I saw the beautiful US covers of both boxsets and once I saw the Readalong book group I saw it as a sign that I was supposed to finally read this series. It was the push I needed. Bring on October 4th when my boxset of HoO will be posted out.

Crystal (wisegirlonfire) | 3 comments I know I wasn't very active in this read along (for many reasons), but I'd be willing to lead discussion for the HoO series.
