Khairuddin Ayubzai I believe that the ending of this book is a simple and beautiful example for every writer. I also believe that the end part of this book is mostly responsible for its widespread success!

Louise The ending for this book was outstanding. Harper Lee really summed it up so well. A touching story with so many lessons. No wonder why it is such a classic.

Winifred Maine The ending is perfect. You wish there was more, yet you are glad it ended where it was and didn’t explain Jem’s, Scout’s and Dill’s adulthood. For me, they will always be the ages they were when the book ended. It is comforting to know that the book’s ending is bitter sweet, and that Harper Lee did not write about any future problems that they might have encountered. Maybe I wish there might of been a little more about Dill?

Leslie Silverman I agree, I would have lived to learn more about Dill. I tried to read Lee's 2nd book and it was not nearly as good as this one was. I think Atticus was a great character that people could aspire to be like, including myself.

only_avab I absolutely loved the ending. I gave me everything it needed to.

Isabel Mendoza The last chapter of this book is what makes it such an important book, it puts the entire story in perspective.
