It's time to choose the nominations for the June group read. To nominate a book just post the title of the book and the author, below.

It can be any book so long as it is within the ya historical fiction genre and it is suitable for teens - no 18+ material. Every member can only nominate one book. Also, please do not nominate a novel that has been chosen for a prior Young Adult Historical Fiction group read. Please note that as of right now authors can not nominate their own books for the Group Reads.

The nominations will end on May 20th and will then be put to a vote to determine the group read for June.

Connie Dowell | 23 comments All right! I'm psyched for that book!

Beverly | 45 comments So far I love the authentic feel and tone of the Quarter. Sepetys really knows how to set the mood.

Connie Dowell | 23 comments I have gobbled up this book! I got the book last night and it's all read. It was definitely a compelling read. Still mulling over my thoughts about it.

Beverly | 45 comments Wow! This was a book that had me in a quandary. So many characters I did not like, I had trouble connecting with Josie's attachment to them. But I guess the cliche is true - you love what you know. I did love Josie, but still thinking about whether I liked the ending. I thought the writing was beautiful and powerful.

Connie Dowell | 23 comments Like Beverly, I found some characters I didn't like, but I did understand why Josie was so emotionally invested in them.
Is it about time to nominate the next book?
