Creating a series (in other language)

I added some books that belong to a series lately and used the format written in the tips:
Book's title (series name #digit)

But it didn't work. I think it's because the title was in Arabic (right to left language). Is there a way I can create seriese in this language?

Putting the series information in the title field does not create a series page. It's just nice to have it there, for purposes of searching and what shows up on people's bookshelves.
