Hello again sisters! Next month is August which means that we will be starting the Book club up again with a new book. The selection for August/September is Maya's Notebook by Isabel Allende. You still have the rest of the month to find yourself a copy before we start reading. Can't wait to get started! :)

Good Afternoon Ladies!
We have just over a week before August starts(crazy right?) and I wanted to post a rough schedule of the next 2 months of reading and discussion. The novel is broken up into 4 parts and the August September time span is about 9 weeks.
Week 1 and 2 will be focused on reading Part 1- Summer
Week 3 and 4 will be dedicated to Part 2 - Autumn
Week 5 and 6 will be dedicated to Part 3 - Winter
Week 7 and 8 will be dedicated to Part 4 - Spring
Throughout and at the end of each part, I encourage all of you to ask questions that you want clarified or post your own topics of discussion based on something you thought of while reading.
Week 9 will be a full week of just final discussion and continuing those mini discussions. Week 9 is also when we will decide on the reading for October/November.
Like I said, there is roughly 1 week left of July so grab a copy so we can all get started together. Can't wait to hear from you all!
D-Xi!

We are almost half done with August! Woo! Here is our first mini discussion: post your favorite excerpt from Part 1 and explain why it speaks to you and why you think it is significant.
