Goodreads policy is to keep all published covers on the site, as users want to shelve the cover of the copy they have. Instead, we add an alternate-cover edition. See http://www.goodreads.com/help/show/85....

Looks like that book may already have one: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

The ASIN stays with the edition that has it. Instead, a note is added to the new edition description and as a Librarian Note to the edition making it clear this is an ACE (alternate cover edition) or ACE and title change, etc. of ASIN xxx.
