The lead girl and her best friends ( two boys)
decided to go on California for
a break from her work. They are English people. She found the owner of the house online. The owner is a veteran soldier
and has been wounded at war. There is something wrong with his brain or memory and he has difficulty to socialize with people . One of her best friend the gay one fell in love with the owner. They have a short fling but the owner fell in love with the lead girl. At the end of the book the lead guy goes to London for the girl.
