The World is about Arkin, a high school student whose mental instability brings him in touch with the psychiatric establishment. But his ailment also has a spiritual aspect.
In order to heal himself, Arkin must set off on a journey to a parallel reality where each step along the way is a tarot card, and he interacts with creatures of mythology. At the same time, when he returns to the "normal world", he has to face his parents, doctors and classmates, and try to muster enough normalcy to seduce the girl he is in love with.
