Sound Advice.-If you live long enough, you'll receive counsel that's less than perfect, and you'll probably give some, too. On the other hand, God will bring individuals into our lives, at just the right time, to say just the right thing. It's critically important, therefore, to have a justification for knowing how to sort the good from the bad, the keepers from the rejects, the advice that's good medicine, and the counsel that will make you sick.-Fools thinks their own ways is right but the wise listen to others-Proverbs 12:15-DIVINE WORDS BY DIANE.

Best advice I know of...
Acts 17:11 - "These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and SEARCHED THE SCRIPTURES DAILY, whether those things were so."

THanks Robert, THose awesome Thessalonicians.I've met many people who memorize scripture and have horrible theology (mostly charismatics). Always best to keep searching daily.
More great advice for sound doctrine...
2 Timothy 3:16 - "ALL SCRIPTURE is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for DOCTRINE, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:"
