R8: SS Team Power of Six (6)

I wasn't sure either but I'll check. Thanks!

My book was accepted!

Is this your first time reading HP or is it a reread?
For those of you reading green covers this week, you are welcome to stop by the And the Winner is... reading challenge.
The Scottsdale Artichokes football team gets a point for every green covered book reported. Or if there is some sort of bad weather in your book, the point could go to the Sioux Falls Storm.
So far, the Sioux Falls Storm is ahead by one point.

review: I enjoyed the story and it kept my attention. But the book needs an editor. There were numerous mistakes; such as, the teenage girl talks about how she has the same green eyes as her father, but on his case file it says blue eyes. And her behavior wasn't consistent. The girl would be confident one moment and then she would almost have a nervous breakdown. I might read the second in the series since I already own it.

Review: Fourth book in the Myron Bolitar series. This one evolves around the US open. One of the player's son has been kidnapped and it involves Win's family. Win wants nothing to do with the case but Myron cannot back away when a teenager's life is at stakes. Really liked the story, keeps you guessing all the way to the end. Done with humour and suspense, keeps you glued to the story.

Review: Cute and fun! It wasn't quite as exciting as the Gallagher Girls series, but similar in tone. Teen spy must navigate secret life mixed with love. I was hoping for a few twists in the plot - you know, the boy turns out to be a spy too or a villain or something - but it mostly progressed straight through with very few complications. Even the drama of her secret was toned down. I would have liked more tension but it made for a quick read so Many can't complain.

Review - This was an OK book. There wasn't too much about it that was special or that stood out. It was one of those books that was entertaining as you read it, but, as a book a day reader, probably won't stick with me past October.

Review: This use to be one of my favorite series till it got too repetitive. It was a quick read for me. It had few laughs and good level of chessiness I like in every now and again.

review: So much sadness and loss in this last book in the series. The fighting and stress really got to the resistance. It was a hard story to read. I'm not sure if I liked the ending. I understand that not everyone can have a happy ending. I would have liked to seen 5 have some sort of closure. I think he was the one that suffered the most. Overall, it was a wonderful series.

Thanks, Logan. I've wanted to read the series for a while now. I'm glad that I had the opportunity.

Review - I picked this one up because I have been working my way through the Sookie Stackhouse series and am enjoying it. Also, I haven't dipped too much into the Cozy Mystery genre. This one was just OK for me. It felt dated a little (it was written in 1990), so I'm hoping that I'll enjoy some of the books later in the series even more.

Review: This was an easy read for me. It had nice balance of funny and steamy scenes. I like the the family interaction in this one. I read this book years ago so the secret reveal had no impact on me. I think it was a rush job on how it was resolved. Overall, it was nice addtional to the series.

review: I have mixed feelings about this one. It started out great but at one point it got a little bit confusing. it was like he was trying to mix Harry Potter and Narnia in the same book. I felt that there was too many characters. Good thing the end made me want to read the rest of the series.

Dominique, I think that books need to be at least 150 pages to count.

I'll ask if 140 is acceptable since it's on the list that we have to use.

Review: I truly enjoyed reading this book. A year in the life of Charlie, 15 who has ups and downs in high school. He doesn't have any friends people find him weird. One day he meets Partick and Sam and develops a friendship relationship with them. This books deals with a lot of subjects like abuse, love, depression but written in a great way.
