I saw this in another group and thought it might be fun. All you do is talk and interact with your characters and other peoples characters. This is usually done in an IM format. I'll give an example below.

You can ask them questions or just have them talk to each other.Me: Everyone meet...
Chikako: I'm not an idiot I can introduce my self thank you very much. I'm Chikako.
Me: Okayyy then, what's your favorite color.
Chikako: Black
Me: Seriously your so boring!
Chikako: Sorry I'm not you typical glittering fairy princess.
Me: You're so rude.
Anyways that was just an example. You can have more than one of your characters talking to each other, you can ask them questions, or you can add on to mine. Have fun!
((Rose: you have just gotten your first warning. This is a public thread and so swearing is not permitted. Two more times of this and you will have to be removed from the group. See the rules for details.))
Chikako:*raises her eyebrows at Katherine* that's a whole lot of confusing right there. Human. Vampire.
Chikako: I thought I had problems. I guess trying to escape an assassination league you were born into is the norm round here. At least I'm still human.
Chikako: my parents were killed in a "train crash". Later on I learned they were assassins and had been killed on a mission. I was supposed to follow in their footsteps but now I'm on the run with my godfather.
Chikako:Guess so. Now I've moved to the US and I'm a spy for them. I'm currently investigating the assassination league my parents were killed in, in Japan.
Mara: I know a thing or two about running. I had to leave my home in the desert almost a year ago, and now I'm stuck in a city where I have to lie about my origins.Amina: At least you haven't been disowned by your entire family.
(These are both characters in an original story I'm working on.)
Mara (to Keya): I used to think that about my family, but I learned a long time ago that there's no one you can ever fully trust in this world except yourself.
Nico: Apologies for Mara and Amina's behavior. My fiancée (Mara) has had a difficult life, and my sister (Amina) is a troubled young woman.
Me: I'll ask questions your characters can answer! Let's start easy what would be your characters favorite color and why?
Mara: Wow, I've never heard of those places! I live in the city of Sularam, but I grew up in one of the Nahari tribes that live in the desert surrounding it.
Nico: It's wonderful to meet all of you. I've lived my whole life in the city of Sularam, but I'm sure you all come from fascinating places.
Nico: Perhaps not in your eyes, but as I've never seen or heard of them, I can't be sure. After all, it can difficult to see the true value of the places we live while we live there. Mara: He's right. The desert was all I knew for the first 18 years of my life, but I never realized how much a part of me it was until I had to leave.
Lyra: And what does it say about a person if they don't belong to just one place? After moving city after city, and town after town, I honestly feel like I'm from nowhere, because at least that term equally applies equally to everywhere I've been
Chikako: *to Nico* you sound like an infomercial Eito: excuse her she doesn't mean to be rude
Chikako: *rolls eyes* what are you my Dad
Eito: your godfather technically
Chikako: *sigh*
Amina: I'd take either of those over where I am now. Since I got out of prison, nobody who matters in this city will even speak to me. I've thought about fleeing into the desert, but it's become so dangerous these days with the fighting between the tribes that I probably wouldn't make it out alive.
Mint: Nah. Ma was probably high when she named me. It's after this line in a poem. "I admire persistence of the mint, really just a weed. Spicy, ragged, alive. To grow towards the sun, and who doesn't want to aspire."
Chikako: everyone has kind of interesting names anyone else's mean something? Mine means clever in Japanese
