I'll answer this que, later, as the last ans ;p

P.S-could be an incident or a person or a thing!!

But if hers isn't that versatile and more constant then I'm so glad:D
Now it's upto Pran on answering the question :P
Great question Sundara!!
Q6. How's your exprience dealing with rural life and people?
Q6. How's your exprience dealing with rural life and people?
Q7. What's your relationship with the god- or the God?

what's the difference?"
Well, the God is personification of the god (who might not be a person but just some kind of energy that maintain the universe). I asked out so I could also have idea about your theory.
You remember in Hindi poetry, there were two types of poets, one used to believe that love/knowledge is god and other one, well, they used to believe in God.
What kind of you are?
what's the difference?"

Btw, that's my theory, would love to hear yours.

Money?? Genie would have given me the ability to either evade the money part, or earn enough that it's not any hindrance in traveling :)

Sunday??
No!
I need to know by Friday! [xkcd ;)]

if God actually walked down to grant me one wish I would undoubtedly ask him to become my teacher and share all his knowledge with me. He may kill me the other day but I’ll die with each of my question answered and all curiosities put to rest. I'll die with all knowledge of the universe. knowing all that would be pretty awesome *-*

my punctuality! I am very punctual person and don't like being late especially if there's appointment with someone and it irritates me a lot when people are late.

when I was younger, every summer holidays we used to visit my grandparents. every night my grandmother would tell me stories. she would tell me one and I would beg for one more and so on until she would sternly tell me to sleep. those were such great time. I think that's the one memory I would like to relive again and again.
she passed two years ago and I miss her terribly, wish I could have spend more time with her.......

P.S-could be an incident or a person or a thing!!"
By this I assume you are asking an incident or a person or a thing that bought tremendous change in my life.
I think my job is something which changed me and life as I see it.
when you see things this close, the reality of how majority of population lives, certainly that would have a huge impact on anyone.

But if hers isn't that versatile and more constant then I'm so glad:D

nah, you are right there have been lots of up's and down. if I have to plot a graph of my life it would be very zig-zaggy ;p

aww,thanks Ann :)
only if there were more people like you, you don't know I how much I was teased in school for my name :(
so, Pranjali is Sanskrit for Hindi Vidushi which means a learned women or a Scholar.

I work as a Pharmacist and counselor for govt in RBSK (rashtriya bal swasthya karykram). Basically we work in rural and remote areas to detect children with deficiencies and diseases and provide treatment to them.

Q6. How's your exprience dealing with rural life and people?"
its very mixed experience, I have experienced some of the best things in life and also some of the worst.
the worst thing is there are no decent washrooms (leave decent, there are no washrooms period) in these areas, makes it so hard to work -_-
superstition's are so deeply rooted here, which makes it very hard to explain and convince otherwise, also their is little or no awareness about various issues.
like once we met a women who had nine daughters and she was pregnant in hope of a son. her daughters were malnourished and she too was so weak that without proper care she would have definitely died.
I have come face to face with so many social problems like domestic abuse, female feticide, gender policing, child labor, no interest towards education, substance abuse etc which before this have only read or heard in newspapers. The biggest problem is that the victims are so brainwashed that they themselves don't recognize what the problem is. but then these problems exist in urban places too......
other thing is that economic difference is very wide here and plays very important role in rural life. also lot of politics happen's here
The great things about people here are, they live very closely knit life. everyone cares about each other. they have a true sense of society more than I have seen in any urban place. people are ready to help. they are so talkative and chatty, they have so many ques and so interested in personal life, with their advice's and all, it sometimes become irritating :/
and they judge us on our clothes, hairstyle, spend too much time on phone, if we are being "friendly" with male colleague's -_-
its hard to explain, their are difficulties and I do rant a lot about it but I still love my job, I like what I do *_*

well I certainly believe in god, there is a supernatural energy responsible for the universe.
I have read Bibal and Quran and found their is so stark similarity between them some of stories from Hindu and Jain mythology are also similar, which made me think that maybe some of these things may have happened in real and different people told the story in their own way, drawing different interpretations.
I think it was easier for people, if they have a name, gender and stories of god, so they created "the God" as you said.
I personally am more impressed with the Buddhist philosophy, and their interpretation of god.

that's a tough que Ann :/
sorry not answering the most but I'll tell you about the second most embarrassing.so here it goes
I am the most absent minded person that you would have met. this leads to a lot of embarrassing and awkward moments. It has also led me into lot of difficult situations and people have just duped me as plain irresponsible (which I AM NOT)
so this happened when I was in school (11th std). one fine day the last bell rang at 1.40 pm marking the end of school for the day. everyone as usual sang the prayer in hurry and begin spilling from class. I was busy continuously talking to my friend ( I don't remember now what I was talking about) as we were walking towards our bus. we reached the bus, found a seat, settled their and I was still talking. now the bus waits about 15 min for all the kids to board. and I was still talking. the bus was about to move when one of my classmate asked if they could have my bio notes an I said yes, sure. so I started reaching towards my school bag to get the notes but what do I see their is no bag!!
I looked here and their for a sec and then realized that I was so busy in talking that I actually forgot my bag in class. the bus has reached out of school gate so I ran towards the driver to stop the bus and when I told him why he just gave me this look which said seriously! by this time the whole bus had realized what happened and everyone started laughing. I ran to the class to get my bag, when I was back with the bag, everyone started laughing more loudly.
the next day this news spread like a wildfire, every single student and teacher knew what happened!
my school friends still tease me about this:/

Are you judgmental in real life? Based on what criteria do you judge people?"
not proud to say this but yes I am judgmental, am trying hard not to be......
I do judge people based on their education, ability to control emotions in public place, English speaking Indian people who reacts very dramatically towards someone who don't speak English.........

Awesome answering Pran!
I knew you were awesome... but never suspected *this* awesome!
Pranjali wrote: "Gorab wrote: "Q3. A habit you are proud of...."

Punctuality in India is very costly!
And your job... not just changed your life, but I'm sure it is changing many lives around you for good! Kudos girl!

Q6. How's your exprience dealing with rural life and people?"

A6!
That's a real tough life! Salute Pran!
Its easier to read and ponder about superstition, domestic violence, lack of sanitation... and what not....
But to actually live through it, striving to bring that change! Really really proud of you!

You have just become my inspiration,Pranjali. I'm dead serious. I've always dreamed of bringing some change in the society we live in. And I can relate to the aspects which you just mentioned about domestic abuse, violence, lack of educational awareness, etc. India needs ppl like you. Please don't think I'm exaggerating,as I've seen the development when just a few of us can take the extra step to assist them with their struggles. Someday soon (hopefully after completing my CA course) I'll jump full time into being a social worker. But, for now, I'm part of M.A.D (make a difference) where weekly one day we teach kids who can't afford to go to school. And big thanks to you for kindling my motivation even more by sharing your job experiences Pranjali:-)

wish you all the best for your future, that's such a great goal to have :)

umm, I am pretty selfish and lazy person, so I would want a day with atleast 48 hours so I could sleep a lot ;p
don't have to do any work, watch movies, eat great food and spent quality time with family :)
