Umm. Do I need a restraining order...?

And Dwayne doesn't know that I'm stalking him while he is stalking... but I started to have the strange feeling if being followed lately. Weird.
Annie: You are doing a lot for others. There is really no need to feel bad for sending away a j3rk who is just trying to take advantage of you!
Let me help you prepare:
Hello! Will you review my book! Yes! Please! Pretty please! Pretty-pretty please with sugar on top! I'm not leaving until you do and I will hold my breath!!
*whisper* this is your entry here! ;) Give it all in!

Lemme know if you like, I'll add to my twitter tag rotation."
Haha, nice! I just sent it into the twitverse, then I clicked the hashtag and giggled! That hashtag really needed that, me thinks. =D

Annie, When this happened, you became concerned and contacted the group for their advice. If it were me, I'd be too scared and uncomfortable to even think of that. YOU have inner strength dear lady. Remember that. ... and I want to see you answer Zoltan's question. : )
Hugs again, Sue

Well, I really didn't want to. But since you seem so desperate and I feel really bad when you beg...
Okay, I will.
How was that? Good, right?
@Zoltán & Miss Sue: Just to be clear, I am not reviewing his book. This was never a question at all. The thought didn't even cross my mind. Not once.
I'll admit I'm too nice in terms of telling people off, but I'm not a legit pushover (shocker, I know, eh?) and never do something for someone if I don't want to. Especially, if they have bad manners. I just don't always know how to word the "no" XD
Hugs,
Ann
P.S. - Miss Sue! hahahaha I'm fine! I promise!! I assure you I'm tougher than I look. I just don't trust my unfiltered self to speak. It's scary XP

I didn't think you would review his book, don't worry. And I know you're fine, just want to support you.
Hey, Zoltan gave me a great idea! ... so you can blame him. Tee hee... I'M going to stalk you so I can learn to toughen up, cause I am a marshmallow worry bean pushover.
Glad you are in good spirits! Hugs, Sue

And stalk away, ma'am! Although, you might end up more scared of me than the perps XD

I'm late coming to the table on this convo, but I think either approach would be right. I personally always prefer to take a direct approach and tell someone exactly what I want them to do or not do. That is what I call a fair warning. I'd also include something to the effect of what one person said, that you're adding him to your spam list or blocking his email. This way he knows the behavior was inappropriate and hopefully takes it to heart for future interactions with others.
But it's certainly not your responsibility to educate the guy on what should be commonly understood as a social norm, so just blocking him without the warning would get you the desired outcome you're really after.
I'm glad I haven't run into that yet. Send me his name so I'll know to look out for him if I see his name pop up! (Yikes!)

@Miss Nicole: Sooo, I totally read that as "What are you guys doing to poor Ann?" and then reread it...
*grumbles* Whose side are you on anyway, woman? *grumbles*
I'll email ya his name ^_~
@EP: Thanks for the insight. Yeah, I'm a bit extreme. Like, either really nice or scary-as-shizz-don't-mess-with-me. Annnnd I'm thinking the latter should be reserved for a more deserving situation hahahaha. I'm with ya on the blocking. Done and done.
Hugs,
Ann

Soooo, I get a poopload of requests to RnR indie books. Which I totally understand! No biggie!!
Here's my reply:
Hey [dude..."
I'm all about ignoring things which irritate me, especially creepy guys. If you respond, you keep the lines of communication open. Ignore and do NOT review his book just on principle. And dude, if you're on goodreads...grow up!!!!!

I'm totally with you on ignoring him. He's already been blocked XD
Thank you oodles, everyone! Appreciate the advice a ton!!
Group hugs,
Ann

Here's my reply:
IGNORE it. You did your part, and you were polite and professional. Now ignore it and move on. :)

@Miss Pearl: Hahahahaha! Wisdom and humour, indeed! Best combo ever, eh?
Happy hugs,
Ann

Here's my reply:
Hey [dude..."
Sounds like a character I've written... JUST KIDDING! Hahaha...

Yay! Someone gets my twisted sense of humor! Hahaha...
When we first met here, we agreed we are very much alike. We like to help people and we don't like letting anyone down. I overextended myself on my R2R's in other groups and it took time away from my own writing, and from reading books from authors in this group. I suspect this is the situation you're in because I've seen all the books you have featured on your website to be reviewed. Wow!
But this guy is like a sleazy lounge lizard and overzealous salesman! This is cause to slam the door in his face!! He has no right to take advantage of your good nature and you have no reason to feel bad about not helping him.
Hugs, Sue
