Discussion starts here!

Here are a few discussion points/questions to get the ball rolling:

- What is the relationship between Watson/Holmes

- How do other stories and adaptation , or media outlets, compare to the original (i.e. film, novels, graphic novels, etc.)

- Holmes is an iconic character, did he live up to the expectations?

Karen GoatKeeper (goodreadscomkaren_goatkeeper) | 100 comments It has been many years but I have read the Complete Sherlock Holmes and liked it a lot. I hesitated to join this read through as I have only that complete volume and knew, if I started it, I would read the whole thing.
As far as the longer stories go, they are much more detailed than the short cases. They have a more detailed background often with now historical aspects illuminating the world of that time. I enjoyed the longer tales more than the short ones.
