Wynonna Earp
question
Art style throughout the book

I've only read less then a quarter of the book, but it is interesting to see how the artists interpret the character of Wynonna. The cover and first story make her pretty recognizable as the character we see on the TV series, but the next few are vastly different. I'm reminded of the art from some of the Top Cow and Eternity Comics books from the '90s. What I'd call 'fan service', with Wynonna and other female characters wearing little and what there is is skin tight. Wynonna herself, in these stories, resembles Pam Anderson in her Barb Wire film role.
I hate knocking the book this way, first because I haven't finished it and secondly because I like Beau Smith's creation and the writing so well. I'm curious how others might feel.
By the way, I love both the current TV series and the comics from IDW.
